Title: The tale of the Boley Fakie
Post by: ShimmerShine on July 29, 2017, 10:08:19 AM
I found one very sad little fakie at Toys R us. I had no ponies at the time, but seeing her, I knew I had to do something. This is the story of how my first ever pony was a fakie.

The only BOLEY pony in the My little pony section, according to her tag, had been there since 2015. Her hair was sparse, her tail was rooted, and she had tinsel in her hair. She was coated with a strange gunk, and had a funny smell. But she was only three bucks, and I had a plan to make her lovely.

Despite her cheap plastic and smell, she has an adorable mold. I love how her wings look, even if her face is a little severe! Her eyes may be wonky, but they are so sweet! After cleaning her up and ripping out her nasty mane, I got an idea. I used ribbons to replace her hair.

The hearts match her cutie mark, and her tail is quite long now!

I've decided to name her Heart's Accord. She now shares the shelf with three other ponies, and fits in well, despite being a fakie!

I think she turned out really cute! I have found a lot of fakies that I love and I'm a sucker for the sad pony that just doesn't fit in (how you found her in the store).

I'm a huge lover of fakies myself... some of my most favorite ponies are part of my fakie herd.  ;) I think she turned out lovely! The ribbon hair was a fantastic idea and it really does fit her cutie mark. She looks so happy now!

I've got three similar fakies like her (Aircorns think that's how you spell it).

Think I've found a way to remove the tails.

How fun!  Cute of you to fix her up like her cousins.  :)

Very neat idea and lovely name too. I like her.

I have the purple one and I think these fakies have a lot of charm, even though theyre nostril-less, have stumpy necks and shower head tails. :3
