Title: Big Light-Up Celestia- can she be taken apart?
Post by: Strawberry Swirl on May 29, 2020, 07:33:44 PM
Ok so I'm talking about this thing.

I found one in a Goodwill without wings and I'm interested in customizing her, but it seems like I'll need to take her apart to do so. Does anybody have an idea as to how to do this? I apologise if I asked this already, I think I might have made a thread on her earlier. I have a set of small screwdrivers at my disposal if I need them.

Thank you.

I imagine with a toy like this, made of hard plastic, a good first step would be heading to the hardware store to make sure you’ve got the right size screwdriver head to unscrew her. I haven’t handled one myself, so that’s mainly a guess, but could be worth a try. Does her head seem to pry off?

In my experience with trying to take apart hard plastic toys... The seams of said toy are a problem... like with model horses that have brushable hair they area made in 2 or more pieces and are glued together. You can probably take some of her apart but not everything :(

Curious as well, I got a wingless one in a Goodwill lot, so I know her wings can be yanked out!
