I am really late to the game this year as life is filled with drama, but i'd like to keep this tradition alive and hopefully have these available for Christmas
If you Sign up, you are committing to getting me a picture by Nov 17.
If for any reason you need to drop let me know by Nov 1st so we can someone replace you.
Notice: we had a few problems the year before last. as a few pictures were late and several person couldn't finish due to personal problems, so the calendars got out really really late.
it's first come first claim, so pick your month when you post.
Physical copies are 5$ each plus shipping (combine shipping if you want more than one)
pdf copies are free.
Picture due date- no later than nov 17th
so what it is, is 12 artists (maybe 13) ban together. each taking a month and drawing a picture 11 x 8 1/2 with the pony theme.
We are using the hasbro characters rather than ocs.
all pictures have to be your original work. please no copying or tracing any stock art.
any drawing level is fine.
I'll print them at my work. my company has changed a few policies so i have to double check on the cost of printing these. shouldn't be much more if any. shipping will still be about 5$
then you get the printed calender in the mail.
(a digital one would be free)
I'll be printing them at my work which is a professional book making company. so the quality will be good. and the cost literally just cover materials and shipping.
i feel bad putting a cost on it, but since i can't afford to make and ship one for everyone its' only fair for everyone to pay for their own. of course if you want to submit a picture for the calendar and just get a digital copy of the calendar there would be no cost.
what do you think? who want to try this?
it's first come first serve on months and characters. since we don't want to have a whole calender just of mintys (though i know some of you may not agree), lets keep it to 2 appearance by each character, for the really popular characters. any generation is fine.

To fill in blanks pictures.
this is not commission based. all artist are volunteers only.
if i can get more than 5 people i'll fill in the gaps myself if i have to. :)
the only time any money is changing hands is if you want me to print a copy of the calendar and send it to you.
oh and if you want one and aren't drawing for the calendar, well if it's ok with the artist you can get one too.
there will be no profits made from any of this, but it depends. so artist as you sign up. please say if you are willing to have non-participates get one of the calendars or not. then it will be decided at the end.
pm me or post in the forum to claim your spot!
Picture requirements are:
-original art
-11x8 1/2 landscape picture.
-theme must match month chosen
-images scanned or sent at 400 dpi (or they will look horrible printed.)
if you can't scan in the image yourself, you are welcome to send it to me, and i'll return your original art with the calendar.
if you missed out on a calendar from last year, or one never arrive please let me know. there was alot of confusion when everything was going out.

Awesome! I'll be working on my picture this weekend.
5 spots left, but I'd like to have a few who are willing to be on standby, (either for a second picture or their first) in case anyone needs to drop out suddenly.

thank you. there is one spot open. as I'd like people to do a max of 2 unless need be.
myself and a friend are both drawing a back up picture incase this spot doesn't get filled or if someone isn't able to get a picture in, we should be covered.

Sure. Its up to you if you want to do a new pic etc. So long as the picture meets the requirements:, horizontal image, all hasbro ponies, etc its up to you.

I hate to be that person, but is there any way we can get an extension until after Thanksgiving weekend. Mine is in progress and this week has been super busy - I really could use that four day weekend to finish it up. I've delivered a pic 3 years in a row without issue, so I figured it'd be ok to ask, but let me know.

I won't be able to piece the calendar together till Dec 1. (cuz life has kicked me in the face) stupid life.

I've been busy lately, but I'll finish it up and have it done for the deadline. ^.^ I tried to make it a little more involved than my usual stuff, it's a nice chance to get out of my comfort zone.

sorry i'm hoping to print a few tonight. haven't had time to put it together. my sister has been in and out of the hospital the last few weeks. doing better, but haven't been thinking about the calendar. sorry.

they are the ones i scanned in. but the pictures are at home, so i can't scan them again tonight....

It's okay! Life happens! It's all good <3 I know how you feel to some extent re life falling apart in the last half of the year. It's really awful but we are all here, excited and patiently awaiting this calendar! I'll definitely be submitting work for the next one too!
