Title: Bow Tie Custom Variants and OC for Army Swap
Post by: aintnobuffalo on July 09, 2018, 07:07:58 PM: I did a very fun private army swap with Jennifer2004. She collects Bow Tie, and I had so much fun imagining her in different forms. I definitely want to do princess and TAF variants of other ponies in the future, and I also would love to army swap again one day!

Genius!! :cheer: Way to go!! Excellent members for your new army! (And added G2 friend! Clever use of those G4 wings, btw!!)

Post by: flutterscotch on July 10, 2018, 03:41:54 PM: I think Princess Bow Tie is one of the cleverest, but kind of funniest (in concept, Bow Tie is not a very regal princess name, but I guess some of the others aren't that regal either) alt G1 customs I've seen in a long time.

Thanks for the constructive feedback! I do think it could stand to be around 20% smaller or so, so that it would stay on the flank completely. If I do a princess again, I will have to do some non local sourcing of gems, as the right looking gems do not come in the right looking size. Maybe I would try making my own resin ones, if I'm brave enough!
