-Hair trims/cuts/hilariously stylish buzz cuts are fine
-Small pen marks are fine, ponies covered in biro are not (unless I am after baits).
-Rust-spots ('cancer') doesn't bother me, internal black mould does.
-I am not interested in custom ponies at the moment as I haven't the space to display them.

-Not currently, no.

-I am a leatherworking, artist, poet, crafter and live-action-role-player (I dress up and go play at slaying dragons, basically). I work with real horses every day, as I own a mare named Summer, and I am generally quite active.

-Though customs are awesome I'm not currently interested in them, unless someone can copy any of the G3 jewel cutie mark ponies into G4 form.
8. Tell us what's your halloween likes.
-Eh? Usually very quiet. I tend to be social with friends, or go out for spooky-afternoon-tea. I tend to keep myself to myself and I like staying up through the night watching movies or just sitting reading with some nice scented candles burning. I don't go for trick-or-treating.
9. What kind of Candy and Snacks do you like?
-Chocolate is always good! I like anything with chocolate in it. I quite like savoury snacks, I do not like sour ones. I don't like gummy sweets that much but I *can* share them with friends.
10. Any Candy Dislikes or Allergies?
-See above. No allergies known.

I LOVE to collect Lemax Spooky Town stuff. I love Halloween but I get so excited every year to set up my Spooky Town decorations.

Any chocolate is fine: Twix, Butterfinger, Snickers, Kit Kat, Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, etc Like fruit snacks. Strawberry Twizlers, yum yum! Love chocolate/toffee candy!

I do NOT like black licorice, cherry, lemon, lime, orange, or almond flavors. No allergies but I do NOT like strong flowery scents.

The list itself has my quest ponies on it, but there is also a huge list of possible G1 ponies that fall into the range. I should mention I’m in Cat’s swap, but I don’t mind doubles if someone accidently gets me a pony I receive in the other swap. I’m also totally in love with restoring flutters/wingers so those are always an option if someone is worried about getting a double.

I’m not picky, and I really enjoy restoring ponies. The only things I would prefer to not have wrong with a pony is cancer or something like a missing foot or chew marks. I don’t mind doing cleaning or sundfading or rehairing ect. I would classify myself as an unpicky collector

Hi there,
I’m a 9th grade English teacher and once school starts back up that is my entire world really. I like to belly dance at home, ride horses when I get a chance to visit my family’s farm and make hand crafts. I adore the holiday seasons and tend to make a great deal of decorations for the house and my classroom. I love pets, and I’m a very crazy book collector.

I start off October by decorating my home and my classroom (classroom mildly to avoid insulting any students put off by Halloween). My other half and I typically dress up in Rocky Horror get ups and attend late night showings. In my classroom we usually study Poe around that time and create spooky narratives we tell in the dark with flashlights. I’m very much a Halloween person and even have some Rocky Horror & Poe tattoos (although they are not directly Halloween I always associate them with Halloween).
9. What kind of Candy and Snacks do you like?
I like fruity things such as Star Bursts and Skittles
10. Any Candy Dislikes or Allergies?
I don’t like chocolate
Oh I should say my partner is allergic to cats, not really badly but they do make her sick. I just know a lot of people their cats get near the packages and stuff. If someone has a cat maybe could just mention it in the note, so I could clean things from the package. I don’t want her touching it by accident.

6. Other Likes/Interests/Hobbies? I'm generally a major animal lover. I'm big into anime, manga and many other forms of Japanese culture and pop culture. I love webcomics and reading. I enjoy RPGs and nerd games like Munchkin. And puzzles.
7. Would you like to receive a custom? Any special wishes here? I'm down with customs. My persona is quite simple and I would love to have a custom of her someday. A simple Halloween-themed custom would be rad, too.
8. Tell us what's your Halloween likes. Oh, um, I love love love pumpkins/jack o' lanterns. I love all the creepy decor I get to put up during Halloween. I love getting to dress up and be someone else just for one night of the year. I love seeing all the creative costumes people come up with. I love that it's a scary holiday that has ultimately become a great holiday for kids. I love the Halloween color scheme. I love horror movies. I mean, what's not to love about Halloween? I may also have a slight bias since my birthday is October 26th, so I usually combine my birthday party into a Halloween party.
9. What kind of Candy and Snacks do you like? Anything with caramel. I love caramel. I also love gummy bears and Twizzlers.
10. Any Candy Dislikes or Allergies? Only candy I really don't eat is really tangy candy like Airheads. My stomach hates Airheads. No allergies.

Are there rules about being in other swaps at the same time? I'm in 3 custom swaps but I am done with my ponies for one and gathering a bunch of stuff is waaayyy easier than making a custom. It's cool if not though.

I am ok with minor rubs or glitter loss, or minor rubs to flocking on So Softs. Names or marks on the bottom of feet are ok.
For G4s, I would prefer NIB unless it's a harder to find pony.
5. Do you collect anything else besides My little Pony? I like Monster High, but haven't been actively collecting since I ran out of space XD. My favorite Monster High characters are Draculaura and Ghoulia. I also collect Owl items, and I recently discovered Pocket Dragons. I also like Ugly Dolls and I have a small collection of BJDs (Soom and Lati).
6. Other Likes/Interests/Hobbies? (Tell us here a bit more about you) I'm a big tea drinker, and i like finding tea and bento-related items. My fiance and I are big fans of Game of Thrones and Doctor Who (11th Doctor is my favorite). I like fantasy movies like Lord of the Rings, Labyrinth, the Dark Crystal. I love dragons :)
7. Would you like to receive a custom? Any special wishes here? Yes please! I like G1 to G4 conversions (would love a Gusty or Dancing Butterflies). Customs of Jack Skellington or Sally from Nightmare before Christmas (on G4 bodies) would be awesome! Pony versions of Monster High characters would be lovely!
8. Tell us what's your halloween likes. I'm a big fan of Tim Burton movies like Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse Bride. Halloween is more of an autumnal celebration for me...I like cute pumpkins, bats, cats and things rather than scary stuff. Not a fan of horror movies. Other movies that fit my tone for Halloween....Hocus Pocus, Adams Family, Ghostbusters :) I like non-sparkly vampires from Buffy and TruBlood.
My Halloween is usually a quiet night with friends where we dress up, carve a pumpkin, have cider, and watch a movie :) Last year I dressed up as American McGee's Alice, and the year before that I was Morticia Adams.
9. What kind of Candy and Snacks do you like? I like dark chocolate and Haribo gummies, Kinder Eggs and Happy Hippos, Toblerone, anything green tea-flavored, Japanese rice crackers and mochi.

For G4’s I like them fresh out of the box with all accessories/backcards. If it’s a variant of one I have already ie bangs or no bangs, then just the pony/accessories are fine. Basically, G4’s that are US, I like em like new and complete, for intl exclusives ie Skywishes, just the pony alone in minty condition (and backcard if possible) would be awesome! I collect G1’s. I like any adults and babies as long as they display well, not picky with G1’s- they’re old so I expect them to have been played with :P I do not like G2s or G3’s- I just trade them or bait them! I don’t collect them.

I collect G1 littlest pet shop (only missing the ultra rare sets now), li’l litters kitties, and G2 LPS (frogs, geckos, iguanas, and bugs only). I also LOVE postage stamps (used are still awesome!) that feature animals and or plants. I love cancelled stamps that feature frogs and the like!

I love my frogs and geckos! I am currently trying to bree Leptopelis vermiculatus (Ornate Peacock Tree Frog), but have had no success. No one has ever bred the specie in captivity yet. I do successfully breed crested geckos, and recently my eggs in the incubator started hatching! Yay! Here’s the live thread about them :) They are my pride and joy!

I like the outdoors, foresty type of stuff, and I love my Jeep! I love flora and fauna. I also collect cancelled postage stamps featuring flora and fauna of all types, and I have a nifty and growing coin collection :lol:

I like giving candy out to the kids in the neighborhood. Keeps em outta trouble :P I love the decorations all the spiders :P I am a hardcore Halloween decorator. It’s the only holiday I go all out for!

Oh I love Halloween and I would love to do a Halloween swap! But I haven't been here for 3 months. Barely even two hehe.

It's simple, really! It's basically Secret Santa. ^_^
We all submit our forms and our organizer pairs us up with someone else. We buy stuff for that person from their Want List. We box it up with candy and whatever other goodies we decide to throw in and we mail it to our partner. They don't know what they got or who they got it from until their box arrives. And that's it!

I am not super picky. But if you consider them to be awful, I likely will too! Most collectors know how other collectors feel about certain flaws. I will say NO major haircuts, pin dot mold, or severely noticeable marks. I don't mind a small amount of friz, small marks and symbol rubs, etc. I am not insanely picky. They don't need to be mint. Just in pretty good shape.
5. Do you collect anything else besides My little Pony?
Like Pretty Kitties and Puppies from the 80s. More about it below. I also like Bratz Ponyz but you'd probably have a hard time finding ones that I don't have so don't worry about it.

I adore body washes and lotion. I like most scents except citrus smells.

i put tons of thing son my list! accesroys and ponys and other non pony things! you never know what your swap partner might find at a yard sale or soemthing. or get in a lot. things do happen. but i try to keep mine reasable.
but i do have a question since i've never done a swap before.. pardon my newbieness here.. so were only supposed to spend 10.00 on everyhting in the box? but what if the person were asigned to has no under 10.00 ponys or its 10.00 exactly.. so do we just buy a couple ponys and hten spend the rest on extras? or the whole 10 on ponys?

I think it's that the *minimum* you can spend is $10, you're allowed to go over if you want.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, obviously :)

This is also in my wishlist: A note on acceptable conditions: I am not a MIB/MOC collector. I don't like ponies with tail rust, missing manes (haircuts ok, just no baldies, mohawks or hack jobs), smooze, cancer, amputees, bad regrind, major permanent marks or mostly missing/smeared symbols. Otherwise I am not a terribly picky collector. I also like ponies that are supposed to have pink hair, to have pink hair (ex: SS Twilight, Posey, etc.)

I love watching scary movies all through October like Amityville Horror, Children of the Corn, House on Haunted Hill, etc etc. I also like the traditional cartoons like Mad Monster Party, The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, Disney Halloween cartoons, Halloweentown, Hocus Pocus. I love decorating that is kind of vintage and gothic, witches, vampires. I am not a huge fan of really cheesy decorations like plastic wall coverings and I hate aliens so please no big headed, big eyed aliens please. I absolutely love fall and fall colors too. To me October is the best month ever...it has Halloween, it is my birthday month, seems like the offical kickoff for fall (sorry September lol), my niece was born, I started dating my husband lol.

I am not too super picky. Light symbol rubs are ok and initials on the bottoms of the feet are ok too. I do not like any marks on the pony themselves and I prefer no frizzy hair.

I am very active and out doorsy... I love to play disc golf. It is by far my most favorite activity. I love to solve Rubik's Cubes. I have caught the custom bug and I love it. Customizing supplies especially hair is always welcome and much appreciated. I also just recently discovered deco den boxes and hand making polymere clay cabochones.

I love customs! I give all artistic freedom to my swap partner.

I love Halloween! But I love the Cutesy side of halloween more than the scary side. I enjoy staying at home, passing candy out and watching all the halloween movies on t.v. I love the cutesy ghosts and lil devils, black cats, vampires and skeletons too. I like halloween stickers, especially the Hello Kitty ones. I love halloween candy and I love that Halloween gives me an excuse to eat it!

Mexican candy! I love mexican candy... chili watermelon suckers are my favorite. Dark chocolate M&M's are my fave right now. Sour candies. Pita chips.

What do you mean 'there will be a Halloween Swap 'coming up'? Is someone else hosting something like this? How soon? I need all the time I can to find ponies and have them shipped and ship them.

Same here!
The point is that I was told now that I can't host 2 swaps at the same time..
The springing point is - last summer I hosted the Color Swap + a separate Newbie Swap + the Advent Calendar Swap started just a few weeks later - there was absolutely no problem at this time...
Also to pinted out - there never went anything wrong with my swaps - no missing boxes etc...
And today I hear about "new Rules".
Sorry - but that is really new to me...and at the moment I have a feeling it's against me..or against my swap idea.

The whole point in "new" rules is that they are "new" and they will be posted for everyone as soon as possible.
The matter has been discussed with the swap host who has kindly agreed to close the swap - thank you for this Stern its appreciated :)
As Party says keep an eye out for new information and for an arena led Halloween swap which will be open shortly. There is no need to be disappointed just because one swap is closed does not prevent anyone from reapplying to another.
No one has done anything wrong but the matter was discussed with the swap host who has kindly filtered this on to her swap participants and that is really as much as needs to be said.

When the mods say there are new rules I must follow them...
But anyway if there is another swap or not - I still feel sad and disappointed...also this swap was open since 5 days now..and today I hear about new rules..
I guees anybody else would think "what's going wrong here"..

Acutally I can't imagine that being the case. There have been some problems in other swaps though and maybe they are just trying to come of with some new rules to help things go a little better for everyone. I know for myself I have been hoping a few things would change to protect people in the swaps they enter. Hugs, its not fun to have to close a swap. I have to say though that its tough when you have no warning right when you start a swap. Yikes :huh:

I understand there is some disappointment here but the new rules have been a work in progress as Party and Cat mentioned.
It is nothing against Stern or anyone else involved in this swap. Please do not take it personal.
An Official Arena Halloween Swap is in the works. :) So keep your eyes out for it!

There is nothing wrong with you, nothing againts you or your swap idea. The new rules apply to ALL swap hosts, including mods.
As cat said, please look out for the new rules which will be posted shortly.

These new rules have been in the works for a while now, while the Admin and Mod team got everything finalized.
In light of this, and a lot of swaps springing up at once, we have had to put our foot down on this swap before we were able to get them posted. Sometimes timing doesn't work they way we plan - that is life, and we must flow with it and accept it.
I want to make it clear that this rules were already in the works, and have not been put into place specifically to target this swap or Sternenstaub. It is unfortunate that this the timing worked out as such, but I am asking that our members understand and respect this.
Warning: this is not something up for debate. Once everything is finalized, hopefully it will be clearer to everyone. We are doing this as a result of many things, and it has been a long time coming.
