Hi guys, welcome to the thread that is just me posting pictures of my foster kittens, ha ha ha.
So far I've fostered six kittens: three boys, who I fostered in late summer and who are now all adopted (yay!) and three girls who are just about ready for adoption now. They were all feral so it took a while to gain their trust, but they're sooo sweet once they realize you're friendly and won't hurt them.
First here are the three boys from summer! I named them Moonstone (siamese looking kitten), Stardust (wide-eyed black kitten), and Orion (the other black kitten.)

Aww! I wish I was in a position to foster cats. Although I'd probably want to keep them all :P
-
Omg they're so cute!
I plan on fostering cats when I get older and get my own house, as well as my own two kitties.
-
Moonstone is adorable <3 Pictures wont load for the other 2 but I think it might be on my end ^^'
That's awesome to hear you are fostering the kitties. Are you doing T-N-R?
-
I'm not doing T-N-R personally but the rescue group that provides me with the kittens does. :3
I'm really lucky in that I have a sort of "off-building" on my property that I think the previous owners wanted to make a true studio or mother-in-law suite. But they couldn't get permission to put in plumbing. But it DOES have heat and electricity. So now it's the kitten house. :3 That is fortunate because my own cats are old and grumpy about kittens, LOL.
Here are some pictures of the kitten girls I'm currently fostering:

They came to me younger than the trio of boys, but they were also sooo much more skittish. They hid behind a couch cushion for about a week and hissed at me every time I looked at them. They would come out to eat and use the litterbox when I wasn't around, but for a while I was worried they would never come out for anything else.
But!! Eventually they learned there was nothing scary in the room and gradually came out more and more. And now they just play and sleep in the open like any kitten. They've also become very affectionate and cuddly and will crawl into my lap purring. It's AMAZING how far they've come, I'm so proud of them.
Their names are Charm, Trinket, and Bauble. (All girls.)

@melodys_angel Yes, and he was a super cuddly kittten too. <3 His two brothers are pure black.
@Freezestime Yeah, I highly recommend it and it really only takes one room! (If you're fostering feral kittens then one room is actually better than letting them be in an entire house because they get used to it more quickly, and also there's no opportunity for them to hide under a fridge or something.)
@BlackCurtains Ha ha, yeah, letting them go is the hardest part. But it helps that my own cats are sooo anti-kitten. They are not impressed, LOL.

They are so precious. So sweet that you take your time to foster them .
-
Wow they are SO ADORABLE! I'd love to foster kitties!! But we have one very old grouchy cat who HATES all other cats so... will have to wait for a couple more years or risk a wizz-war...
-
Aaa, awesome <3 I truly do believe in T-N-R and im happy to see these little ones come out of their shell.
That's the beauty of kittens--they are young enough to learn and adapt. it would be a lot harder if it was a feral adult.
Do you check to see how they are with dogs and small children before adapting them out?

Oh my godddddd babies kitties!!!! You name just like I do, in sets! I foster too and have had a set of wines, Fleetwood Mac, fast food, fruit, and breakfast! I'm currently working on my fast food girls, Tacocat, Nugget, and Fishstick.
I bawl like a BABY when I give them back. :'(
-
oh kittens! How amazing that you were able to help them. Trinket is so cute with those white toes.
-
aawww I've always wanted to hand rear premie kittens but I have to find a job first :/
-
That is so awesome that they have their own building :D
-
I really should test them with kids and dogs . . . I don't have either but maybe I can get my neighbors to help in the future. :) I do invite my neighbors over to socialize with them though. :)
Good news!! All three of the latest kittens have been adopted! <3 I am so happy for them, and frankly relieved because when I took them to the rescue's shelter (which is where people go to look at them) I was worried Trinket and Charm might not be ready, but also I felt like I'd taken them as far as I could on my own. (They were 100% socialized around me . . . rolling around in my lap, purring when I came in, etc.)
Bauble got adopted first, then this week Trinket and Charm got adopted together! <3

That is wonderful news. I'm so glad the little creatures got new homes

Aww I'm so glad they were adopted! Great job !!!

It's THE BEST when foster babies go in pairs! :D
