Gosh there are certainly a lot of these popping up - thanks to our ever wonderful source of releases over on Taobao.
I think they are cute but I am so desperately hoping that as these are another 2 new characters we may see these girls as brushables along with Skylar one day.

They're cute! Apple Sprout and Cottonbelle look like they could be related to Applejack and Rainbow Dash or something.
I don't really know what's up with Pinkie Pie in diapers though. She seems to be progressing backwards developmentally from her days of learning to walk. Maybe she's into infantilism?

These ones have cutie marks, but Star Dreams is a blank flank? I wouldn't have thought the newborn So Softs were selling that well that they'd make all these new ones.

Wow. I'm using these characters in my AU. Applesprout will be AJ's child, and Cottonbelle will be Rainbow's. ^^ Who needs to design fanchildren when you have these? XD

Nyaww I love Apple Sprout!! And I love the baby Pinkie artwork lol. It would have been fun if they had used the Pinkamena style she had before Rainbow Dash's sonic rainboom, but I guess kids who haven't seen the show wouldn't get it. :P Still, OMG I love baby Pinkie! And Cottonbelle reminds me of Blue Belle, colour-wise. The baby peg wings on the newborn plushies really don't tickle my fancy, though. I love her colours so much, but the wings really...I dunno. I'll have to wait to see her in person. If the colours are as bright and vibrant in person, I'll most likely be able to forget the wings lol.

Since I saw Princess Skyla I have been giving the So-Softs a second look. I love Apple Sprouts look and bothe she and Skyla may come home with me. I wonder if Apple Sprout and Cottonbelle are related to Applejack and Rainbow Dash? Pinkie Pie is also cute to see.

These are cute! I don't think I'll be getting them except for Princess Skyla since I love night time theme stuff. I only have Spike. Just wish you can remove the clothes/diapers on these.

Ugh I am so in love with all of these Newborns coming out.. Skyla and Applesprout are my favorites so far.

Those last two say Littlest So Soft on the boxes... so does that mean they will be making another lines that is slightly different from Newborn So Softs.... with trollish hair?

Given the markings on the box, I'd say they're smaller than the existing So-Softs (note the indication saying 15cm which roughly equates to 6 inches)

yes me too and see sunny daze as a brushable too. that why i bought her cos she was a different character then i thought she was so adorable so now i want the apple sprout, LOL, i don't like the name though but she is cute :)

My FF; Apple Sprout is an orphan and you find out that all the Apple family are to explain the lack of parents :(. Then they sing it out and everyone's happy :lol:

I don't care for them, but I have never liked baby-dolls even when they're ponified in some way, it was a massive turn-away from the G3.5 range for me. I wonder if these two will be related to the mane 6 (unlikely) or if they're crystal-empire cutie mark crusaders? Aside from Pinkie.

Yes exactly, I don't like animals that are babified. I don't like dolls in general but I think these are somehow worse. It does amuse me though that Pinkie is regressing from learning to walk to being a newborn, as someone said :lol:

I still think these toys are a strange concept, but I guess they must be selling well because they come out with new ones every wave.

Ahh, I wish these two would have been made into brushable fillies instead. :/ They are cute!
Though with a few tweaks, they could easily be Applebloom and Star Swirl!

Okay...Apple Sprout is adorable! GAHHHH! How am I supposed to resist that!?! I have some of the original So Soft Newborns for G3 and there's something awesome about a pony you can cuddle AND braid her mane/tail. I'm a plushie addict, though, so yeah. XD

Y'know as much as I'm not into these as a collector I think kids like them pretty well. I've more than once when going down the pony aisle in the store heard a child exclaiming how cute they were.

I thought that Apple Sprout was baby Fluttershy and I was like, "OMG, so cute, want!" Then I saw that it wasn't and I was really disappointed. Gee, thanks, Hasbro.

Wait wait, are Cottenbelle and Pikie Pie really 16 cm high? o.0 That's like... a little bit more than 6 inches high. That's like the length of the palm of my hand to the tip of my pointer finger! That makes these two So-Softs seriously tiny compared to the other So-Soft MLP's, which are 'huggable' size. These ones are more like 'sit in the palm of your hand' size.
I wonder how the quality will be. Will they be as plush as the regular sized ones, or will the fabric be more stiff, more felt-like? Will they even sit up on their own, or fall over? Kids won't be able to carry them around tucked in their arm like they do with other plush dolls.
First the brushable G4 size, then blind bags and now this. I find this to be just more evidence that Hasbro is cutting more corners, making everything smaller and cheaper to save production costs, etc. :\

OMG, I didn't even notice the sizes until I read this post and went back to look at the pictures. UGH, that completely erased my interest in buying Cottonbelle. I know a lot of people do like the tiny, puney ponies, but honestly I love plushes I can cuddle. Though I know, for a kid, these will seem a lot bigger to them lol. I guess they're a good size for little kids who want to carry around a plush toy, but don't want to lug around a huge one. So it *is* a good size for them. So I think I may still get a Cottonbelle and give it to my friend's daughter. I'm sure she'd love it! But, man...it would have been awesome if they had made a Cottonbelle the size of Apple Sprout (she seems to be bigger, I think). As much as I enjoy G4, I am really getting tired of everything getting smaller and smaller (meanwhile, we have Polly Pocket getting bigger and bigger...everything's all topsy turvy these days!). Pretty soon, we'll need a microscope to view our ponies, and we'll have to cuddle our plushies using tweezers!

Yes they really are small...I think thats what is swaying me to really like them...I saw a picture of one holding a blind bag which showed how small they are very cute!
