Hi friends!
So I found a very good Winx doll and decided to put her up on eBay, I never had much luck with sales but I managed to sell her!
The thing is, the person who bought her is in Czech republic. With no buyer/seller feedback, and the name is different on the PayPal compared to the shipping order.
All of them don't automatically mean scam, but I'm still cautious.
Because I heard of people getting cheqs, sending off products and then it bounces, or that they'll send off the product, receive the product and say it didn't arrive, file a PayPal dispute, ect or get the product, lie about it not being the item/being different and PayPal dispute ensues.
Can I get your opinion on this? It'd be really helpful.

It does sound suspicious. But if you get money by paypal, and send it out with a good tracking service I think you should be ok :-)

Never send an item out before the money clears.
Is the address a confirmed address through PayPal/eBay? If not, you forfeit your seller protection.
Also, you need to send packages with delivery confirmation (and/or tracking). Because if a package arrives at a confirmed address they can't really claim it didn't arrive. Unless it didn't, and then yes, you are responsible.
As for item isn't as described, then they need to send the item back for a refund..so you'd just be out shipping...
But you can also message your buyer and try to get more information.
You didn't mention where the package was going to.

I think I had it wrong. -_-; If you don't ship to the address that's provided, that's what nulls the protection. But if you know you are shipping to a confirmed address, then that gives you a little bit piece of mind. That said, I don't know if Czech republic is a place that can be confirmed to begin with. :/

I thought for some reason you were saying that someone bought an item, but they were trying to get you to ship it to a different country. I'd be less concerned.

I think there are several countries in Europe which Paypal has messed about with in regards to accepting payments and confirmed address settings. But Banditpony's advice is sound wherever you are sending it.
Send to the confirmed address.
Use tracking.
Wait for payment to clear.
If you follow those rules you should be protected.
I see no reason why sending to the Czech Republic would be an issue. If their trains are anything to go by, their postal service is probably better than ours here in the UK :)
It is also possible that someone else paid on behalf of the bidder. So a mother paying for a child, or a wife for a husband, or any combination you like. It might be a shared account. Lots of possible reasons.

Thank you everyone for your advice, it's really helped.
I checked the address on Google maps and it shows a house, so that's more reassuring. I also talked with eBay support about my concerns and they mentioned tracking, cancelling, ect but I figured I'd be okay (but I'm glad I talked to them because I have a record of my concerns incase anything goes wrong)
I sent her off this morning, I emailed the buyer with a pic of her with the envelope sachet thing and I'm hoping for the best.

I would recommend printing / paying for postage through eBay. (The "Print Shipping Label" option.) Because then you will get a bit of a discount on shipping AND they will automatically generate the customs label for you and automatically populate the tracking information. All you will have to do is sign your name on the tracking label after it prints, and add the date.
As far as the difference in name, yeah some buyers just have different names on their shipping addresses for whatever reasons.
Most important factors are:
1. Only ship after the payment has cleared.
2. Only ship to the confirmed Paypal address.
