Do you have her? Your thoughts? Share some more pics!
This one I do have. She actually was a gift from my bff many years ago.

I want her. She looks cute. Kind of getting reverse posey vibes.
-
She's pretty cute. I like the looking-up pose! To me she's kind of a wet SS Shady despite predating her, the same way Whitecap is a wet Glory, and High Tide is a wet Posey. I know that they're not identical (in fact, with her eye color, High Tide is more like a wet Kiss Curl), but for me the body and hair colors jump out and say, "Hey! It's THAT PONY!" I don't know if it's the same for anybody else, but I find it hard to memorize Sea Pony names since they don't have symbols and have fewer poses. That's strange because I can identify most land ponies without seeing their symbols! I'm getting better, though! It helps if I set up in my head that wet Posey=High Tide, for example. To me, she'll always share part of her identity with Shady, but she's cute in her own right!

Like with all the second set, have her, but not her shell.
She shares her name with a G3 Butterfly Island 3D symbol Pony.

My favourite adult sea pony.
-
Hard Pass. I very much dislike that hair color. It ruins every pony it touches. I also am not very interested in adult seaponies.
-
I'll pass. At risk of sounding like a broken record, I just really can't get on board with pink ponies with yellow hair. The turqouise shell and purple accessories are nice, though.
-
I like her I may want her someday. I mean shes got that "Shady" vibe to her.
-
Pass.
-
eh, pass. not a huge fan of sea ponies to begin with, and this colour scheme is just really not my thing. i see the appeal, just can't get behind that bright hair with that pink.
-
She had a cute voice in the Catrina special.
-
She's new to me. I was initially put off by that hair color against the pink but after studying her a bit more I think she's pretty darn cute!

I agree! And I think of Wave Jumper as a sea pony version of Bow Tie.

Have 2 in box of her selling my other one
-
I have always seen her as the Shady sea pony too. I forget which episode it is she's in - is it Catrina? - and that was the association I made, not knowing that she actually existed. Shady is a much loved childhood pony (albeit proper pink Shady, not wussy SS Shady xD) so I was really stoked to find she was an actual pony, not just an extra.
Plus her name is cute.
And I was lucky enough to find her at a boot sale over here in the UK. I think she came from the local collector who sold up in the late 1990s. We had around 300 ponies or more from her collection over the course of some months, and about 40 of those were keepers. I'm pretty certain Sand Dollar was one of them.
Here she is.

I remember she cost £1.
Her shell came in a later trade. She might actually have been the first second set Sea Pony I had. It was her or Sea Breeze, who was my first ever Ebay purchase.
Before that - according to the Fact File - I was more interested in White Cap and Sea Mist, but their discolouration problems kind of go against them.
So yeah. Sand Dollar is the best. :D
