The thing is... some natural colors can be very... unappealing when put on a toy. Some shades of brown actually look quite... awful, while black is hard to do without it turning to grey... MLP sadly doesn't have 'shading' on the toys while some horse models do and which can play a role in how the colors look.
More colours = more variety. Hasbro should really open itself to use colours that are not pastel or "girly"Agreed! I think natural colors would be nice to add more variety into the line. The Kirin in g4 were a nice example! Most of them had all earthly tones and it was so nice to see something different!
I'm okay with it, dependind on how its done. But generally, I want my realistisc toy horsies realistic, and my fantasy horsies rainbow colored. Gray and black are fine.

Im with Leave a Whisper on that :)
I like them here and there. I'd never want to have millions of naturally coloured MLPs, because there's other, more realistic horse toys for that. MLP should stick to mostly fantasy colours, IMO. But the occasional more natural colour, or natural body colour + fantasy hair colour (like Cherry Spices, Queen Chrysalis, Snuzzle, etc)... yes please!!
I'd LOVE more horse markings, though - blazes, appaloosa etc. Naturally coloured or otherwise :p again, prolly wouldn't want every other pony to have them, but if they showed up even occasionally that'd be great.. the only MLPs like that I can think of are Bubbles, Seashell, Pipsqueak and Troubleshoes (side note - G4, quit making just the boys more naturally coloured! I like those two, but dangit make some naturally coloured/patterned girls, too!)... oh and Luna? IIRC the black splotches on her flank are actual markings and not part of her symbol, right?
Troubleshoes
If they are making a set of draft horse ponies, some should be girls and some should be boys.
I don't even mind his beard because it's so much like the traditional unicorn beard (goat-like).
I actually like the idea of ponies being in natural colors too not just fantasy colors I mean if you're going to bring them in the shows with natural colors on top of the not so natural then why not have them as toys, you know! It'll make sense!
And when they did Octavia she was with her doll version.
I'm a fan of natural colors - there are so many beautiful horses on earth with patterns you can think of. I once made a set of G3 customs based on real existing horses with a slightly colorful touch:

I imagine a dark brown body with light blue/aqua hair would look gorgeous.
I am absolutley going crazy over the appaoosa! And the flaxen chestnut in the last pic. So pretty! :drunk:SpoilerI'm a fan of natural colors - there are so many beautiful horses on earth with patterns you can think of. There's Aztec from the show horseland:
Here are some other horses from the show in case anyone's interisted:
Agreed. My Ringlets has discolored to gray and it makes her 4 striped hair stand out even more. She's so lovely this way, which is a pretty weird thing to say about discoloration.Haha, that's actually exactly who I was thinking of when I wrote that!
