Title: HAVING PROBLEMS WITH DOLLYHAIR!!!!......HELP!

OK...so I have been ordering from Dollyhair forever....and never had any problems......but last time before the fair I ordered a whole 2 hanks of hair like a month and a half before and it never showed up.....I sent her many messages about the problem...never got a response ...nothing !......so finally I filed through PayPal hoping she would notice and fix the problem...still nothing...I got my money back but that was it........
Then I ordered hair again... kind of a last chance type of thing....left a note with this order about the last order...I have not gotten anything yet...still should be coming ...but I at least expect her to apologize...and I really really need the new hair I ordered to make another g4 styling size Rapunzel for someone!....gah!   HELP!

What would you do?
Has anyone else been having issues?

Same here, emails ignored, payapl dispute ignored. I will be escalating to a claim soon. I am rezlly mad, have 2 unfinished ponies...never dealing with her again

I placed an order 3 weeks ago, still havent received anything, not even a notice that the order had shipped, it was a huge order (well over $50), I've emailed her 5 times plus PM'd her on here and still not heard back. I'm giving it another 10 days and then I'm opening a claim. We cannot be out all that money. Plus I really needed the hair, I was ordering from retrodollsus, the only reason I changed to dollyhair was they had way more colors in stock and they offer free shipping for orders over $50.

I'm not angry, or trying to attack anyone. I was simply responding to the OP about my current experience.
I understand that she is going through tough times, however I can only wait so long before I'm out a lot of money. I think I'm giving it plenty of time. None of my messages or emails to her are rude. It's just inquiring as to whether its been shipped and if so when so I can know whether or not to expect it sometime soon.
I understand that RL can be a pain and everyone goes through things, I wish her all the best and hope that things get better for her, I fear that if things don't turn around soon, she will lose a lot of customers.
I don't wish that on anyone.

I just placed an order a few days ago. I hope she is able to come through for all of us- so many people here kinda of rely on her site for hair. I didn't know she was an arena member too. Man, I wish water nixie was in stock! I have a Beach Ball pony to rehair  :)

I understand everyone's frustration. I am just as sick of dealing with these threads, as you are all for having to start them. But I don't want to lock this. I want it to stay open and on topic till she resolves the issues or comes on here and explains what is going on.

And for the record I am for warning everyone right now if you have no outstanding issues with DH, your comments will be removed.

I don't want to be rude to anyone at all I just really would have been totally fine if I had just gotten a response...I would love to keep ordering hair from her...if she is having problems all she has to do is keep in contact.....I try to order from dollyhair and retro dolls......well here's hoping...and I hope whatever she is going through works itself out... :satisfied:

I haven't had any problems but I have sent her several emails in an attempt to get her aware of this issue (because its no longer just one or two people now) but never heard back from her. She went from talking to me daily to no contact whatsoever :huh:. I hope everything is okay.

Has anyone tired to call her yet? If not maybe I will try tomorrow.

I just placed a order with her, so I not worried quite yet but I will let you guys know if it shows up.

ALSO, I would like to apologize to you ponylady for the last forum :( I tried to keep things civil but it just didn't work, I really hope everyone can be mature and calm this time.

I'm sure we're all fed up of Dollyhair threads in TS due to her not sending/no communication etc. If she is having issues or whatever, she needs to come and post here to explain and offer solutions. People here are understanding and willing to give her chance to sort things out, but if she doesnt respond then she'll lose customers and have cases opened on her.

exactly.....I just am not sure what else to do besides post here as she is not responding at all...so I thought maybe this might get her attention...I have commissions to do but can't without hair=)

I placed an order from Dollyhair not long before this message was posted.  I would appreciate if anyone does receive hair from her if they let us know so that we at least know she is moving forward with orders.

Sarah do you still have an outstanding order with her? I am trying to keep this for folks who are still waiting to either hear from her or are waiting on an order. It's to keep this neat and tidy, so we know if and when she resolves their problems. Because her non-communication and slow shipping times are becoming an issue again.  Thus my warning above.

Ponylady, I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post this because I don't have any outstanding issues with Dollyhair but I thought I would contribute my experience as I placed an order just few weeks ago.  It was a larger order (over $50) and I kept checking the status of the order which read "processing".  After 10 days of my order being stuck in "processing" I sent her an e-mail.  She did NOT respond to the e-mail but I DID receive my order on Aug. 2nd so I'm thinking the e-mail may have expedited my order getting fulfilled. :wonder:  When the order came in on Friday, everything was just as expected.  :ohyeah:

Thanks HA for sharing your experience but like I mentioned above it is for outstanding issues and outstanding issues only.

There are to many people here who have experienced her bad service. Thus leading these threads to go on a downward spiral, ignoring Mod Warnings and eventually being locked. Therefore this is not the thread to discuss good or bad. It is for the folks who are waiting on hair from her.  Thank you!

Sarah your good then, if you are waiting for her to fix the situation then it should be posted here. I read it as you were ok with her sending you Wysteria instead of the original color you ordered.

It's sad and really quite frutrating. I really hope the order just shows up soon, I really don't want to resort to opening a case. Especially since I understand that she's having some problems. However stepping up to the plate and letting people know would save everyone a lot of worry and headaches. *not bashing* It's just my oppinion, I'm very understanding, but this situation is really beginning to push my patience.

My dollyhair order just came in today. It looks as though it was shipped 11 days after I placed the order. However everything appears to be there and she even included a free hank of MLP Sunset.
So my issue has been resolved.  :)

Ok....I got my order that I purchased most recently......so I am good ^.^......she also sent a letter apologizing and some free hanks of hair....I will order from her again.....I just need better communication.....so I am good now. :satisfied:

I ordered from her on July 17th and got it last Saturday on 27th July (living in Germany) so that was pretty fast but 3 hanks are missing and it was not only hair for me but for a german pony pal too. I wrote a mail last Sunday - nothing. I tried to call her yesterday - nobody answered.
So I'm still having issues with her currently and that something is missing is the first time for about 5 years of successful business with her.

I still haven't heard anything back from her or any word on my lastest order but its only been a week so its too soon to really be concerned on my part yet. I'm really hoping to see it show up next week (I'll let you guys know if it does!)

Eternia, I'm so sorry to hear your order still hasn't shown up! Well at least you will most likely get your money back. You should post in the custom boards what colors you need and maybe someone will have it available for sale.

The case has been escalated to a claim, correct?

If so then PayPal will review your case and try to make a final decision within 30 days, although in my experience it's usually a lot sooner. The last dispute I opened, once escalated took about 5-6 days before they refunded my money.

guess what showed up. my hair! no note, no free hank, no email or explanation. I am very very unhappy with the whole thing. Just glad it's over and now I can go about my business and order from another provider from now on.

Did she ever reply to the Paypal dispute? Because chances are you are going to be refunded if she didn't, so basically you'll get free hair in the end.

Also very happy that you got your hair, I understand that you're unhappy that you didn't get any extras or explanations. I think the only reason we got any extras was because we placed such a large order.
In any event, it's good that she's getting the orders out, even if it's slowly. :)

My order came today, it was supposed to be delivered on Wed, but for whatever reason my post office held onto it till today :huh: (but thats their fault, not Tinas)

I miss 3 full color hanks. The blends with "please keep separated" are all there and complete. Unfortunately I paid through credit card and so a paypal claim wouldn't be possible.

Hopefully she responds to you soon regarding the missing hanks, and it would be a nice gesture for her to toss in an extra as well to make up for the mistake.

I will continue to order from her even if the orders are coming out slowly, I still love the selection and the prices compared to the other sites I've been directed to :)

I will be continuing to order from her as well, but its my advice to anyone out there that needs hair fast to look elsewhere until her shipping speeds up.

I received an order from Dollyhair today, only a week after placing my order (International shipping).

I have read about these problems though but it seems to me that they have the nicest colours and the cheapest prices so I have continued ordering from them..

Hey Libelle,
When I placed my order, I never received an email or confirmation of shipping, it just arrived 3 weeks later. I believe that only US customers receiving tracking confirmation, which would confirm that their order has been shipped.
I wouldn't worry too much yet, give it another week or 2. You can also try sending her a PM on the arena and an email through dollyhair. Some people receive responses back and others don't.

I still love ordering from her, beautiful selection of hair, good pricing, free shipping with $50+ orders... slow reaching me but well worth it.

It's great that people are receiving their orders in a more timely fashion :)

I was looking through my order the other day and on top of the colours I ordered, I also ordered one of the surprise/random bags (5 colours/hair types chosen at random) and to my joyous discovery, my one of the hanks was a thermal colour changing one (dark pink to light pink) Woot Woot :frolic: I had no idea lol.

I kept looking at them and thinking, geez this hair looks thicker and the texture is different, so I pulled it out to look at it and then realized it was changing colour due to my touch and I got super stoken about that lol

I didn't get any response yet. I stated that I wanted to have a delivery notification and got it but usually you don't get one. I haven't heard from her since then, so I think I'll give up ordering from her. It's sad to say after more than 5 successful years of ordering. It's strange that these problems did occur just this year. So if anybody of you get in contact with her, please let point her in my direction.
