Just to let everyone know that member Ducklett has been banned from the Arena for the following reasons:
~She was found to be selling/trading while underage.
~She made multiple Arena Accounts (twice)
~She ignored Admins Pms.
If anyone is still involved in a transaction with her, and needs to keep in contact until that transacton is completed, then please PM a Mod for her email address - Thanks

Ouch! So sorry to hear about the ban, but it sounds like it was deserved.
If she's in the US, file a report with ic3.gov for mail fraud. They'll help you guys out! Or, at least tell her that you'll be filing a report with them and maybe that will get her moving on making transactions right.

Good idea with the reporting. That's the only thing I can really think of right now. Hopefully, that will make her realize just how big of a deal it is to claim that you didn't get cash through the mail when you actually did receive it.

I am currently working a transaction with her. I did send a money order though and now waiting for the pony. I will keep you updated.

Good call catching this. But how is one to know if they are dealing with an underage trader? There is someone I am dealing with, whom someone I know is dealing with also. And she said that the person seemed rather young.. So .. what are the signs? What do you do if you suspect? I would hate to report someone on a haunch and then be wrong.

I don't know that she necessarily scammed anyone that we know of....yet. She did come through on a few transactions, so we are hoping she will come through on the rest.

I hope it works out with the people she was trading with-
In the future, if you send cash or a money order through the mail, I would recommend sending it priority flat rate. That comes with automatic indemnity of $70 (for domestic) as well as tracking. It costs a few dollars extra but at least the person can't claim that it never arrived, and if it does get lost, you will have a recourse.
Edit---
Hmmm- I just went to usps.com to try and find the free indemnity for priority flat rate, and don't see it. Maybe the policy has changed. Well, free tracking is still provided- so that is still what I would use if I had to send mula in the mail.

Yes, she was lying about her age. In her first account, she said she was 15. When her attempts at trading were stopped by the mods, she signed up with a new account and said she was 16.

She was trying to buy a Gilda blind bag off me and never responded to my PMs asking for payment and address. Thankfully I never send anything until the payment comes so I'm not out any ponies.
What blind bags did people buy? I'll see if I have what you bought in my sale stock and send it your way!
