Hey,
I recently sold a Spanish Baby Lickety Split on eBay, and the buyer contacted me to say she thinks she has had a hair cut, although I’m not sure as I think her mane sticks out more if that makes sense but would really like to get a second opinions incase I’m wrong.

The buyer is comparing her to this pic from another seller:

Thanks,

Babydoll, hmm. My baby is exactly like Vetten's but some of my other Spanish babies like Gusty that I just checked for comparison, has same "type" of hair as the one you sold. It's very hard to say but I don't think mine's been cut so I'd adventure myself and say that Lickety Split hasn't either... let's see if someone else can help you out x

Looks uncut to me, at the roots it sticks out further than the one in the other picture (& the one on mylittlewiki)
Also if it had been cut the ends would not look like that it would be cleaner at the tips. (As the one you sold has uneven hair at the ends, it makes me think it is definitely uncut)
The only bit that looks like it has possible been cut is the fringe as that is very neat & even lengths... too neat to be from the factory really, but it’s not had loads cut off, just a tiny weeny not even a millimetre off :P so it doesn’t really make a difference (just looks like some one cut it to make it even)
So no I personally don’t think her maine is cut (just maybe the fringe but hardly anything has come off that)

I don't own this pony myself so I cant be 100% but I think just from looking at the pictures that her hair isn't cut :awake: the one that the buyer is comparing it to has flatter hair - like you mentioned it doesn't seem to stick out as much , and the pic is taken from a slightly different angle ( facing slightly more towards the camera) .

Doesn't look cut to me, the one she's comparing it to looks like the hair has been straightened by hair straighteners.
-
Nope, just a different angle and a slightly different hairstyle. Your pony's mane is bouncy around her neck, the other seller's pony's mane is wrapped more tightly around her neck.

Exactly what Baby Squirmy said. The mane is not cut. HOWEVER, is the buyer referring to the forelock? I have had people make that mistake before, thinking the forelock was a bit of mane that was supposed to be longer. Since in the comparison picture the forelock is swept back and blends more with the rest of the mane.

Not cut IMO.
The buyer may be fishing for a partial refund. Don't give it to them . . . it just encourages bad behavior. Tell them they can return it for a full refund if dissatisfied. Odds are they do not want to give up the pony.

Firstly: gorgeous pony! And secondly: I agree with everyone else. If the buyer were to push the hair of 'your' pony down so that it was styled in the same way as the comparison pony then I believe the lengths would be the same. The pony in the comparison photo looks to have just been styled and their hair is lying in a tighter curl.
Good luck in resolving this.
