There's probably a thread like this floating somewhere, but I have no idea where.. so hopefuly it won't hurt to start a new one.
What are your ultimate grails? Those ponies that you want the most, more than any other pony, or perhaps wanted the most but have already aquired. It doesn't matter how rare it is or what gen it is, even though most of us are deeply in love with certain nirvana variants.
For me that special one would be brazilian Truly. I fell in love with the soft shade of pink and beautiful light blue in her hair the first moment I saw a picture of her! I love pegasi ponies, and br Truly especialy is almost like an angel. I have some other major grails, like brazilian North Star and completely light green mail order Star Hopper, but br Truly is the pony in my dreams.

Right now it's SS Twilight :inlove: Not the hardest to find I assume, but for some reason I've never seen her on sale in Finland.

I SWEAR THERE JUST WAS AN AUCTION FOR HER ON HUUTO.NET! Atleast I think so, so softs weren't sold here so it's hard to find them localy. Ebay would be preferred but it'll take time to find one with affordable shipping. :/

On the more realistic end of the spectrum, Heart Throb, Eve, Rainbow Magic and coincidentally, So Soft Twilight are my grails; I'm having a very hard time finding them, but chances are if I'm persistent, then someday I'll be able to get them.
On the entirely unrealistic, dreamy, ultimate fantasy grail pony side of things, there's Re Unicorno and the Argentinian Gingerbread with the rainbow hair. :lovey:
Also I just looked Brazilian Truly and wow, she's such a beautiful pony! :heart:

My big time grails are orange collector pose Argie Confetti and Greek orange Sunlight. Lesser are Dutch Diary and Baby Cat.

Realistically, I've been wanting Pillow Talk for a while.
Unrealistically, my ULTIMATE grail ever is Sternenglanz :inlove: I love the German rainbows so much though, any one from the set would be amazing! I want to complete it one day, though I doubt that'll happen.

My ultimate grail was probably Brazilian Paradise. I bought her from an Arena member in France three or four years ago now. She is one of my treasures :D As a kid I always used to love Paradise. I had Revolt of PE on VHS so even though Paradise wasn't really in the comics, I knew who she was and loved her. She was also in the cartoon, but wasn't sold here. (I later found out she was planned but scrapped before production). I used to write stories about Paradise, Magic Star and Cherries Jubilee :).
I have the SS but as a kid I didn't know about SS ponies, so SS Paradise wasn't the pony from my childhood stories. Since the other one never got produced, Brazilian Paradise is the closest thing to what I imagined as a kid. She is a very special pony to me :)
Now in terms of loose ponies it's Sugarcake for completion's sake. But I've been after her for almost 20 years and I can't afford her. I've also had some MOC items which I didn't think I would ever have but which are special, like Strawberry Fair - but I would like Windy on her UK card, as well as Rainbow Magic, Baby Tic Tac Toe and Ripple in their UK packaging. I think that would fill most of the important childhood pony MOC gaps - maybe a Sand Digger but I would be happy with just her card.
I also really want a Fable pony card. Any fable pony. Doesn't have to be in English or even have a pony still attached. I just want ONE for my backcard collection. I have around 300 pony backcards and packages from G1, and some of the ones I have are special, but that one is my ultimate outstanding backcard grail...
Trouble is nobody ever wants to part with them :/

The variant white haired Starglow off card...yeah right! She probably doesn’t even exist!
More realistically it would have to be Diamond Dreams. She’s elusive!

I think at the moment mine would be NightLight. Ever since someone on discord showed me her, she is now a top grail ponies!

My ultimate grail pony is Greek Sunbeam. Which I magically was able to acquire last week!! :drunk:
I think my next in line would be Alt Birthflower March.

The most unrealistic is any Whizzer pose Dance 'n Prance, or the adult BBE prototype.
Realistically, one of each Tales pony's non-gimmick release and the alternate birthflower June Rose pony.

Rapunzel because I collect Disney merch and she'd fit right in. Plus I wanted her so badly when I was a kid and my mom said: "not with all that hair". Because I wasn't so great at braiding and her hair would have gotten messy fast.

hmm, i don't really want the expensive ponies. i mean... of course i do, because imagine! but realistically i'd get regrets over spending THAT much on a pony.
i really want the jewelry babies, especially ruby (ruby has a couple of family-related links, like names and birthdays :P) and those are the most expensive ones i would be willing to buy.
like others have said, i want an SS twilight. the episode with her was one of the ones i watched a ton when i was younger. she stands out to me as one i want to get but she's a bit on the pricey end sooooo no luck there.
my biggest pony grail is more shelves and space for more ponies!!! :P i would probably get all of my old G3s back, all my ponyville playsets out, a good chunk of the cartoon ponies that i liked as a kid... anything vaguely tropical or neon too :P the list goes on and on...

For a loooong time it was Mimic, but I was able to get her some months ago. For now it is Baby Sugarberry. It is pretty impossible to find her for a decent price *sigh*

I already have a lot of my ultimate grails like Chief and Ringlets MOC/MIB , Punzie, the Greek sitting ponies , Brazil sitting bow tie , the nirvana ponies in my fave pose , and others... wow this is becoming a list..!! :blush: (not that I'm not adding new ones of course - there are still a lot I'd like!!! :P )
I think at the moment though I'd most like Dutch baby Cat :lovey: :kitty: I'm a bit of a crazy cat lady (can you be a married crazy cat lady? :wonder: ... well I am anyways :accomplished: ) so not having her in my collection is a total fail!! :yikes: I seem to miss her whenever she comes up for sale.

I have lots of grails... Some I will probably never get, but there are enough that shouldn't be that hard to find! Princess Pristina, TAF Yum Yum, Sugar Apple (can you tell that I love this pose? XD ), Flower Bouquet, Wiggles, Mainsail, Caramel Crunch, a perfectly deflocked Paradise, Starry Wings, Raincurl, Baby Rainribbon, Dutch Baby Cat...
I would LOVE to own Nightlight, NSS Truly and Argentina Baby Moondancer (Baby Sugarberry pose, blue baby with green/yellow hair), but those belong in the "yeah, in my dreams" category. :P

Ok, my super-duper-mega grail is : MIB G1 Sugar Apple in german box! <---- haha, yes I know, totally easy to obtain XD
For loose ponies Id really like Red Roses and Fireball! Taffy and Crumpet would be really cool too!

MOC German baby Lemon Drop is my top want! Along with greek blue Medley, spanish Cupido and Italian blue Lickety Split. (And alot of other boxed ponies, so wont get into that :P )
I had Spanish Agua Limón as grail for a long time, but have had her for several years now. Would need an upgrade tgough ^^ Recently Aquired grail would be Mail order Sweet Scoops :)
