Is Series 1 the main dolls with 2 outfits? I've been trying to figure out if the cheerleader dolls count as Series 2 or if they are still part of Series 1.
I want to like them. I love the color theme and the dolls themselves are really cute but I’m not a fan of the fashion style or the media. I’m not one to make clothes. Do any other brand of doll clothes fit them?
I personally kinda feel the same about a lot of their clothes. I don't like the whole "designer casual" thing they wear most of the time but there is the occasional party dress (usually paired with a logo tee that has to go) that I dig. I'm excited for the runway dolls because I know they will have gorgeous formal style dresses.
I have seen others on Instagram put them in Barbie clothes so that might be an option. Especially the newer stuff that's meant to fit Curvy Barbie.
Like Freezestime, I've been a huge fan of RH since their prototypes were revealed!
Truly the best clothing quality you can find on current playline dolls, ad I'm a sucker for unnatural hair and the fact that the web series is produced right here in little ol' QLD? :heart:

Are the runway dolls going to have the fashions they wear in the show? I don't watch the cartoon but I saw a screencap of most of the characters in mostly formal gowns.

I checked another store and found more Daphnes but not a single Georgia. I hope they aren't regional releases with Daphne in some places and Georgia in others. I'd love to own Georgia also.

I love the Slumber Party dolls. It's going to be hard to stick to my one doll per character rule with them.

I noticed that a lot of the stores in my area have a lot of the older dolls in stock so I'm starting to think that might be a factor why I can't find Georgia. When I bought Daphne I had to dig through several rows of the older dolls to find her.
Georgia must have just been added to Amazon. She wasn't there when I looked before. I'll keep checking though. If I can't find her I will get one from Amazon.
I don't understand the $100 doll either. I know it's bigger but it doesn't seem worth that much to me.

Does anyone know if the big Amaya is as articulated as the smaller dolls? If she is I need to start watching for her to go on sale.
I have four of the dolls so far, Bella, Jade, River, and cheerleader Rubywith plans to track down another Ruby or Bella for customizing purposes. Customizing was the original reason I purchased any of these dolls but after playing with them I like them too much to customize my current girls like I was originally going to.I've been thinking about getting the other Ruby so my current Ruby can steal her clothing while I customize her.
If I'm able to find out more about the larger girl that I like I might have to snag her for customizing.
Has anyone else customized their Rainbow High? I've heard they can be a little tricky.

I know I'm behind on the releases of these but in what may have been a moment of weakness I may have finally bought myself the Collectors Edition Jett. Earlier today I'd already decided not to add doll purchases to this month's budget but in my defense she wasn't even quite half price and she'll be here Tuesday.

I miss Bleeding Edge Goths. They weren't meant for kids but they had authentic goth looks for the time. Would be cool if anything like that would make a return but I fear any darker themes in playline dolls vanished together with the mainstream popularity of vampire romance (and doll-wise, Monster High).
I’m in a pickle I don’t know which three Pacific Coast Rainbow High dolls to get it’s between Bella Parker, Simone Summers, Hali Capri, Harper Dune, Finn Rosado, & Phaedra Westward.All of those dolls sound nice to me and I've heard a lot of good things about them.

I have been bravely trying to resist getting into these for a while now, and I am still resisting, although I am fascinated by Natasha and the whole concept of the Shadow High dolls.
But I found a bunch of unused amazon tokens while I was tidying up. I tend to put them on one side after a holiday, and then they gather up, so...I may have stepped into the dark side juuust a little.

No, it isn't Lila. I can't justify buying a doll whose hair I would feel too guilty to take down from its styling.

For hair, I used a little spray bottle with water on Chrystal and gently brushed and rubbed off the glue. But, it was a long process. My time probably would have been better spent just washing it and putting the hairstyle back.
I haven't seen many of the episodes.SpoilerFrom what I've seen, Rainbow High seems like an incredibly stressful learning environment. While I think pressure is a good thing in moderation, it's not great for learning new concepts/skills. I also think the dolls are cute, but their giant heads looks so weird animated.
I got Jett early on when she came out because for some reason, Walmart had her in the clearance section for $20. But the other special editions are just a bit too much.

Esbayne, I totally understand your breaking down with her. I love all three of that set, but they're so expensive here. I did snatch Uma, the blue one, on random sale on Amazon.

The green one definitely did it! I'm jealous, Esbayne. I don't think they sell that doll here. I know there's another version of her, or one with very similar colours, but she doesn't seem to be here, either. Amazon lists her as something like £125 so I'm like, no thank you...
I am leaning towards the green one as well. I blame Esbayne entirely for this. But there is another reason. I was playing around with Uma after washing the gel out of her hair (it has taken so long to try -.- she has so much hair) and I had a sudden thought. And it kind of went...a bit...out of control...
I was going to say, I can't keep them in box either but I forgot I have Ruby and Jade in a two-pack. They look so good, I can't do it. However, all the others get deboxed. I really only get the dolls for the hair.

Apparently yes, slightly - at least in the US, as they're $25USD as opposed to $29.99 - hopefully this continues through to international releases too (RH are $60 AUD here in Australia...!) :P
I like Monique but don't like her dress :c One of the Divas is on sale at Smyths for something like £35 which is still pretty steep to me
...I do wish her name wasn't spelt so awkwardly though. I have no idea what's wrong with Zoë. It's like nobody can use an umlaut any more. A name should never emulate "gooey" and that's that.

So, about Glitch.
I think she's the only character I ended up wanting to get based in part on her animation appearance, which says everything about the personalities of a lot of the characters in the animation shorts *LOL*.
I do feel like she's a bit of an oddball in this set, though. The others are so clearly aligned with a colour, whereas Glitch belongs to Rainbow Vision and she doesn't have a rainbowish name, not really. I almost feel like she ought to have come out sooner, but for some reason they revised her and scaled her down. In the animation she has chains in her hair (see below), but it doesn't seem as though the doll does (shame).
