Title: Have you picked up any new pony hobbies during quarantine?
Post by: dragonfly on July 13, 2020, 09:53:03 PM: I keep seeing memes about how to use this time for self improvement and learning :) My state has been beginning to open back up! But I find myself paying more and more attention to custom ponies - I've always liked them, but recently gained a new appreciation of the detail, art and creativity that's behind them.

I'm curious - have your collecting habits changed during the pandemic? Have you bought more? Less?

Taken up customizing - learned to do straw curls - began to learn about a new ponygen, something else? Finished up your pony room?

What are your recent ponycomplishments? I'd love to hear and see pics if you have them!

Post by: Safflower on July 14, 2020, 08:42:08 AM: I’ve basically just displayed my collection, lol. They have a nice space in my walk in closet on top of a dresser, on top of some risers I made with foam core board :)

I have organized a proper want list too.

Post by: Miniature Sheep on July 15, 2020, 12:00:41 PM: I haven't picked up any new pony-related habits during lockdown, although the situation has renewed my enthusiasm for ponies, as they are very calming with their pretty colours and overall cuteness, and I have added a couple to my herd recently. I'm also giving some consideration to how to display them, as I'm in the process of reworking my room layout and it would be nice to have a dedicated spot to display my ponies along with some other toys, rather than having them all standing in an arc on a clapped-out old chest of drawers, because that's the only place where they can go at the minute.

Post by: Mewtwofan1 on July 15, 2020, 12:06:52 PM: Not so much a new hobby, but I have noticed an increase in requests on my DeviantArt relating to MLP. Maybe it’s the same, and I was just too busy before quarantine to notice. Or maybe not. But the workload has increased a bit.
