Hello everyone! I'm here to tell you all about this year's Southeast pony meet! Our host Kelsey (Monstarnomnom) is doing things a little differently this year, please read on for more info!
DATE: Saturday, September 15th. Doors open at 10:30
LOCATION: Returning once agian to the wonderful clubhouse!

ABOUT THE MEET: If you've been to our meet before, you pretty much know the drill. There is no entry
or table fee! This year however, we are doing things a little differently and much more casual! There are no RSVP's this year: if you want to come, great! Make your travel arrangements, post on the thread if you want, just show up! There are no table reservations this year; and tables are limited to 1 per person (so keep this in mind when deciding what to bring! More on that below) and they are first come first serve. The clubhouse has a pretty good stock of tables and I don't think we have ever had an issue with shortage. Also changing this year, there is no official meet raffle. But you are welcome to host your own raffle at your table if you would like! We want to focus on making new friends, talking about ponies, and having a good time hanging out with like minded pony pals!

WHAT TO BRING: (other than yourself and any friends :P) bring ponies to BST, ponies from your collection you want to show off, projects you are working on, art, other toys to BST, etc! You may also bring games or any kind of activity you would like to do! We don't have a set schedule this year :)
This year we are not doing a group lunch, so bring snacks and/or lunch for yourself as well. There are a variety of restaurant options nearby as well.

How late does this usually run? I'll be minutes away from Lawrenceville, but I have to work to about 1o'clock.
But I'm also sure I'll probably chicken out and not go as in previous years.

Awww you should totally come! We are expecting this year to be smaller than previous years and we’re all friendly :) I think we usually go until 5 or so!

I don't really get on the Arena much these days but I am excited to see everyone there! <3 This year is going to be really chill and focused on getting to hang out with other collector's. I predict there won't be as much buying and trading but there will be great company!

I'm surprised there hasn't been more comments on this. Seems like there was more interest last year. Are many folk coming?

We do have a lot of people coming! I'm estimating around at least 20 or so. I think most people are on Facebook and other social media these days and not many log on to the Arena much unfortunately.

I'm coming! I just moved back to GA and I totally scheduled the move around the pony meet to make sure I would be able to come. :P
Just FYI, my chronic illness has gotten very bad in the last few months (hence moving back to my mom's house), so I will probably be using a walker and be a little less active than usual (not that I'm usually the most active person in the world, anyway). I feel like I should warn about the walker because people are usually shocked when they see me using that or my cane. People are weird. :/
Anyway, I can't wait to see everyone, and I'll be sad to miss the faces who won't be able to make it!
