So, I'm in Brighton again for a few weeks visiting my husband's family, and I can never help but look around for ponies when I get the chance. While I've never found much at Snooper's Paradise it's hard to resist trying.
This time there was a basket of G3s (I got two), and in a locked cabinet a Remco Sea Pony, with her base. Her hair is very dry and she has a couple tiny spots of mold, but her other marks should clean up fine. For 6 pounds I couldn't pass her up. I know pricing fakies can be a bit tricky, but did I get a decent price? I told myself when I learned that Remco made sea ponies that if I ever saw one, I would be sure to pick one up.

No ideas on price either but I actually really like her. I find the MLP ones kind eh. But I would actually look for one of these to add to my collection.

Me either. I want one now. That is, if they aren't Uber rare and expensive. I just love sea horses.

She really is cute. I love how she has a very different look to the Hasbro Sea Ponies, and she actually looks quite pretty.

I looked around eBay and etsy one sold one for 3 pounds plus shipping. I know that's probably not a good roundabout price having seen only one so far but...well

Like others I had no idea they'd made any sea ponies. Wow. Many congratulations, reanna-mator! :) That base is pretty neat.

Wow. Neat to see as I didn't even know Remco ever made a seapony style toy. She's actually cute.

WOW, I didn't even know they came with stands!! That's amazing! :O Thank you for sharing! I have a Remco sea pony, but she's just as rough as most of them, LOL! I had to remove the internal weight, as it was crumbling and just ... terrible.

That was my thought when I saw her in the locked case. When the salesperson took her out, I checked and saw that, indeed, it does actually say Remco on the base. I've seen the Remco sea ponies mentioned a few times but never heard of a base. That was a nice bonus. :)

Wow! I almost never see any of the Remco come up except the horses and unicorns. I'd love to have one of their seahorses, deer, and burros in my collection someday!
