Title: Picture frame and disk pricecheck?
Post by: Rik on August 23, 2019, 03:31:52 AM
Hello again. Two more pieces have been brought to me, and I have no clue how to price them. I looked around on ebay, but I can't really find any listings for them

Pictures can be found here:

Picture frame "skydancers" : https://sta.sh/21l60a19ozqt?edit=1
Picture disk: https://sta.sh/09nsqdw6fh0 (side b not pictured)

Any help would be appreciated! I'll also sell both of these, so if you're interested, please message me!

The picture disc is actually the record version of the My Little Pony song tape, with the seven songs (AJ, Bow Tie, Lickety Split, Posey, CJ and Tootsie, plus intro) and the story. It was only sold in the UK I think. Probably in 1985...my tape is dated 1986 so that would make sense.

You have the lyrics too. I think it's a niche item that some people would be looking for, depending if they can play it. But that's what it is, and you might get more interest with that info. It's called picture disc but I have no clue why...

I looked it up and apparently it's just called a picture disk because there is a picture on the disk... We have a record player, so I might try playing it to make sure it's not damaged.

Duh Hasbro UK for stating the obvious, but yeah, that's basically the only conclusion.

Even though the song tape is actually called, "My Little Pony Song Tape." I guess they got a clue by then.

Good idea to test it. :) Don't blame me if you end up singing the songs from it. They're kind of catchy...

I played it so much as a kid I can still remember a lot of it.

"My little ponies live at the edge of the rainbow forest. Theirs is a magical world where every day brings a new adventure..."
