Title: Question about photo posting

Hi,I’m still very new here and have wanted to post pony pics from my collection but am having a bit of difficulty with getting the image to show up. I’m am using Imgur,the app on my iPhone. And I’ve uploaded the photo. Only thing is when I use the [img] and preview my post the photo isn’t showing up  :huh: I wanted to know if anyone else has had that issue before and how to fix it? Thanks so much!

Which Imgur link are you trying to provide? Could you paste it to make sure you have the right one?
I don't use Imgur, but I think it should end in a file extension like .jpeg or .png. That usually tends to be the culprit.

I pasted the link for the photo from the app,it has a copy link button and I use that. The link I am trying to use is this one https://imgur.com/a/0YNH76q
It doesn’t have jpeg or gif or png at the end ,I did try adding but it didn’t seem to show up after. Could it be the photo size? I may need to try using another photo hosting site.

When I get time I may try using my laptop to post instead maybe that will
make a difference,I’ll give it a try anyways  ^.^

The link you have is a link to the whole album. I'm on desktop so not sure how that works on the phone but if you can view the image properties or image info, you should be able to copy the "location" (a direct link to the image, ending with .jpg or whatever the file format is).

If you need to resize the image, simply add either height or width to the code:

You'll need the BBCode..
(BB stands for bulletin board, which is what this kind of forum is)

If you're going to be on your phone a lot, I would suggest something a bit more mobile friendly if you want to upload photos more often. I use Tumblr, Discord, any social media site that has you upload photos (NOT Instagram, Twitter....Facebook links get purged) should be good. Deviantart also works well.

Thanks everyone for your help! I'm going to wait until I get my pony mail this afternoon and make a post with all my new ones.
all your replies really helped me and I think I can get it now.
