Title: Help me identify 90s toy! Pic added.
Post by: fireextinquisher on February 23, 2012, 07:09:30 AM: Sadly I don't have any photos as my mum threw them out long ago, but they were basically plastic animals of either gold or silver colour and they came with jewellery attached to them, eg a ram had clip-on earrings as horns.

I'd really like to find out what they were as I want to re-buy the jewellery box I had for them, which was pink and heart-shaped and opened using a wand =P

Anyone have any ideas?

Edit:// Have found out that they were by Tomy and the date stamp is 1993, but still no product name!

So much annoyance at my mum for throwing them away, I'd forgotten how cute they were and it seems like it will be impossible to ever find any again! Especially with their jewellery still there Dx

The only thing that comes to mind is little kiddles, but those were tiny humans, not animals :(

The thing that kills me is I remember seeing these in a dollar store near me when I was in my "I'm too old for toys but I can't help looking at them in stores" phase. Now that I want to actually have them I can't find them anywhere. I keep hoping even just some pieces from these sets will pop up at a yard sale or flea market or thrift store near me. Or that maybe a set will pop up somewhere online but so far no dice.
