Title: How hard is repro star shine to find?

Thoughts?  I seem to find lots of the original, but not too many of the repro version.

I have seen them loose in lots on occasion, but they are easier to find mib as a lot of people bought those sets to keep in package. Loose I'm guessing you wouldn't pay much. Under $4.00. :) I hope to find some re-issues loose for nieces to play with when they visit, as I'm worried about chemicals present in the vintage versions.

Oh, old starshine is much easier to find. 83' ponies were manufactured on a massive scale, she was also re-released with the 84' rainbows as well. Vintage she is htf without glitter issues and discolouring.

I agree with FantasticFirefly - she is easier to find MIB than loose as she was mainly picked up by collectors who kept them this way. They do show up occasionally but the originals were produced in much larger quantities and therefore are much more common.

If you are looking for her have you tried something like a little want ad in your signature? I am sure you ll find someone with her to sell that way.

Actually, it's one of those "need to get sometime" girls.  It came to mind today so I thought I'd ask.
