And I thought the mermaid crayons were a cool older item. I was shocked that they were in such good shape!!

Post by: sailorstitch on February 05, 2016, 07:58:00 PM: I didn't do this swap, but mkia9 and I did a Disney trade. I knew what I sent her was going to her swap partner. I just wanted to pop in and see who got my stuff and if you enjoyed them.

Ponyfan, the Finding Nemo McDonald's toys, TLM trading cards and TLM nail brush are what mkia9 got from me. I got a Mufasa tsum tsum out of it. I wish I could tell you more about that nail brush. I found a bunch of them at a garage sale well over a decade (maybe two!) ago. I gave a lot of them away to friends and I still have more floating around the house. I do know that it's an original late 80s/early 90s item. But I don't know where it was sold or what it came with. If you like the McDonald's toys, I have more extras. Enjoy your goodies!

I found them on eBay! I thought they were super cool! And I was shocked that they survived until now without cracking or melting!

I love the Ariel confetti!! As I mentioned in the main thread, we are surprising my niece with a trip to disneyland for her birthday in a week and a half. So I collected all this glitter (and the little tags on each gift) to reuse! Hanna will be getting "gifts from the princesses" each night when we get back to the hotel room, so this will be a perfect way to help decorate!!

And here is everything out of the box! Look at how gorgeously everything is wrapped! I had to take a minute to appreciate it all. (I also saved the wrapping from some of the bigger items to use for Hannas gifts too! I have princess paper, but none with just Ariel!)

Also from Tokyo Disney, probably one of my most favorite items, Aristocat kitten mini plush/pins!! These are super neat. They're litte plushies, but they have pins on the back of them and little chains on top. So you can hang or pin them somewhere. I just love things with all three kittens as a set, so this is amazing!!!

Next is a pin I've actually been wanting!! These come to the parks in blind bags, and I've never bought one because I was always sure I wouldn't get the one I wanted. So yay now I have them!!

Next were the contents of the big flat package! Pocahontas stickers! These are awesome!! And a lion king book! It's perfectly new. And a super cool Beauty and the Beast sticker book! I took a pick of the inside because it's neat!

Next is something I was super excited to open!! I'm sure Tulagirl worried if I already had this, but I didn't!! I was so happy to get her! It's the tsum tsum pencil pouch in the shape of Marie!!

And I love the little dangle charm!! :heart: I am going to use this as my "Disneyland" wallet. I particularly love the design on that set of trading cards--the yellow dress Belle wears is pretty, but the pink one with the hood is from my favorite part of the movie. To me, that's when the two characters finally start trying to get to know one another and the conflict shifts from them against each other to others keeping them from being together. Anyway, awesome box. :)

I gasped at Flubber. My bf and I have been talking about wanting to re watch it since we saw this Display at Journey through the imagination with Figment at Epcot. The even had Weebo in a glass case on display!

Bedknobs and broomsticks was another top on my upgrade list I've been holding off on! The oliver pin is awesome! I was trying to get him and Dodger while in the parks from that set but I only found Si & Siam from that set trading with cast members. Rapunzel is amusing. I laughed with the Elsa box the salt & pepper set was in. Super cute, I'm surprised I don't collect salt and pepper shakers to be honest.

I got my fabulous Disney swap box from Jazz Matazz today. I am so excited about what I got.

I got the most adorable crochet Totoro I have ever seen. Oh goodness he is cute cute. I love him so much. I also got the most beautiful Totoro towel. I have never seen anything like it. Then along with that a little Totoro pad of paper set. Squeeeeee super cool stuff.

Then to my amazement I got a vintage American Girl Complete outfit with the Grin Pins and the hanger. I am floored, over the moon with this gift. I have never ever received an American Girl item in a swap and I am a huge collector of AG. This was a very special item to receive and her Jelly sandals just are so Rad! So to show you just how cute this outfit is I have dressed my doll in it. Here she is showing off her new outfit. I actually have a vintage doll from the right time period for this outfit but she is at the hospital due to a haircut. :lol:

Small plush are a small Guage which is a bit hard on my hands to work in so I don't make them often. The American girl dress is one of several doubles we had laying around. My mom went a tad overboard when I was a kid because it was the only doll I ever got into. We live south of Madison where they have the big outlet sale every year so we'd get dolls and clothes quite cheap for minimal flaws. :) I'm happy you liked everything! The ghibli items I got at epcot.

Even the doll amount is a bit scary considering my plan was to just get one doll and everything for that one doll. Well, that didn't happen. People started buying them for me and now walaaa crazy mess of a collection...but fun. I love my handmade Totoro. I love Epcot at Disney World. I have never been to Disney Land. Its been years for Disney World as well.

I don't really call her samantha, since her original clothes were taken from me by my wonderful sister many years ago. xD She wears normal clothes though, as the reason my mom got her for me, was because samantha looked the most like me.. so I always dressed her like me xD. They didn't have the build your own doll back then.

That totoro is also tooo cute! what a fun box!

Stickers!! Everyone knows how much I love stickers I think! xD And these are all perfect! I love that you sent me some Canada Stickers/keychain too, I love getting things from the country/state where my partner is from, and I don't have any Canada stuff yet! Which is funny since it's the only country I've traveled to rofl.
Those Ghibli stickers seem to be a collection of art and movie scenes and they're all gorgeous, I added a better picture of just them in the spoiler. I can't get over them and that Kiki postcard! I also didn't have any NBC stickers, and I cant wait to open that pokemon sticker book. The tasty treats stickers Might be used very quickly!

Next I opened this little thing and was so blown away! I don't have any disney pins! And of all the pins, I think this has to be the most perfect one! I don't really know anything about them, but ahh I love this one so so much, it's so special to me! Thank you thank you!

Im so glad I didn't, And Iv never seen Scrump around here! I'm so happy! Then I got a little Genger! I'd also seen pieces of a couple Ghibli films, so I was aware of them if not familiar.

I lucked out and found a good chunk of your stuff from Amazon.ca (Lilo, Scrump, Hiro, both Pokemon items, and both NBC sticker serts). Your STudio Ghibli stickers and Lilo & Stitch pin came from eBay. The seller of the stickers was a real doll and sent the two post cards, so I added them as a cute extra for you. I've purchased from the pin seller before and as usual was happy with their quick shipping and the quality of the item. Once I'd seen Lilo & Stitch I had to get you that pin. It ended up being the item that tied the whole box together.

I bought your candy, the keychain and the stickers locally during a nice 'thaw' day when I was out buying for all my swaps. I was a bit grumbly I couldn't find fruit flavored Jelly Bellies for you at WalMart since I remember reading that pear is your favorite. Hopefully the Cherry jellies will be good--I thought the various flavorings would be neat and would go along with the couple other 'valentine' things I had decided to throw in for fun. Those juicy burst Jolly Ranchers are some of my favorites (first got them from Ledbyrd and have been buying them since) as are the Real Fruit and Starburst (liked both for ages.)

I still need to find and watch Big Hero 6--seems like my kind of film and I'm surprised I haven't seen it yet. I had a lot of fun putting your box together and am very relieved that it did come together in a way that you enjoyed. It can be really challenging when the other person has different interests (mainly talking Disney theme here)... Fortunately, we both like stickers, figures, pokemon and fruit candy so when I started looking at it that way putting the box together started making more sense. :)

Yes, I made the bags.

I got lucky. A friend of mine went to Disney during the swap. I asked if she could keep an eye out for Splash Mountain things. The rest I got off the Disney app that was mentioned near the beginning of the swap. And I also got lucky on EBay with the salt and pepper shaker and tsum tsum. I had to get that when you mentioned Splash Mountain was your favorite ride.

Here is what I found when I looked inside. This princess paper is very pretty. Not only does it have the more traditional princesses, it even has less common ones like Tiana and Mulan. I did my best to unwrap some items carefully so I could preserve a sample for my smashbook.

A sparkly rainbow-stripped card and a set of Princess stickers I didn't already own. (Nemubones, I'm happy to hear that Princess Serena is happy in her new home. :) Not sure if you know, but I received my own at Halloween from Ledbyrd. Mine either sits with some pony friends or sometimes perches on my 3DS if I'm not using it constantly. :lol: )

Check out the treats. I've already opened and enjoyed some of the White Chocolate KitKat Minis. (BF and I were playing Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc). I got some M&M minis at Christmas, so I'm looking forward to having those again. I think the container might make a good change jar when the candy is gone. And look at the Beauty and the Beast shoe... :lol: I don't know if I'm going to be able to eat it. It's really pretty. Maybe I'll share it with my brother? My very first Tsum TSums--Elsa and Anna. :) I have a soft spot for Frozen since (1) I really like the characters and music and (2) it was the last Disney film I got to see with my grandma. I'm always thrilled to add more Frozen items to my collection. Also: I think these will blend nicely with my Itty Bittys.

The Disgust Funko Pop looks even better in person than it did online. :) I really need to take an updated photo of my Disgust collection. It's gotten to a point now where it'd be worth letting people see it. :) I've been looking for this Pop and hadn't been having much luck finding her. EB Games was sold out and Amazon.ca was over-run with re-sellers.

BATH STUFF! I made this weird but very happy laugh when I saw all of this because we just complained about needing for bath stuff! Every Wednesday I will have a long herbal bath and this will make it fun! The little Olaf mirror is so cute! x3 I got me some Olaf bath bombs, bath mirror, and and Elsa sponge! I had to take this away from Miku as well....she snatched the sponge out of my hand and ran around the place with it! I'm trying so hard to fight back tears, but it brings me absolute joy to see this picture framed. This is not just any picture....its the ONLY picture I have of myself in my childhood. Not going to get too crazy into details, but as a kid I once lost everything due to weather and constant constant moving to other states being relocated into new homes. This picture means so so much to me, I've been a Disney girl ever since I was this little! I do believe I was 3 or 4 in this. This picture is from the HAPPY part of my childhood, and I'm glad the only picture I own of me is from the happy times. I loved Minnie mouse as a kid and I wore that stupid horrid dress everywhere! xD My dalmation in the photo was named Daisy and she lived to be about 14 years old! I am so thrilled to FINALLY have this framed in a matching frame!
You guys have NO idea how much this means to me!!!!

Ok, I got really excited opening these, my favorite Disney Couple/ Movie of all time. My mom could tell you that as a kid if you took me to a video store I would only rent this movie , I loved it. I had to disappear due to surgery so that was a bummer and the reason things got back upped with me. I meant to ship before I went under but something happened (I forget now what happened) but man what a trip to the post office to ship it. The shipping almost cost me more then the items in it! LOL.

So I have a brag too. My package came from FAR AWAY, I was really excited about it too. It made recovery MUCH better for me. I didn't get a lot of Detailed photos as I was really high on pain killers when I got it. But I got a few photos.

All wrapped all nice like. I really didn't want to tear into them cuz the paper was so cute!

All unwrapped, At this point I was already into the chocolate! It was noms! Really really NOMS! I had to share with my kiddo though. I really didn't want to but as she helped me with the package and unwrapped most of it for me. and took my photos for me as I couldn't hold my camera. She also had to read the post card for me. I found it funny. But we got through it.

The tsumtsums are soft I squeed when I un wrapped jafar and ariel! I am a huge fan of the villians so that was ROCKING!
The Pin is on my lanyard and I had to fight my kid to not take it from me. She wanted it as much as I did. I love That silly cat, so does she. So it was funny, But she got to open the tsume tsume packet for me and she was happy with that considering she took the one I got. (I think it was a dalmatian) Yup joys of a teen who doesn't take NO as an answer.

Also where ever you found the cross stitch THANK YOU! I have been looking everywhere for them so I was so happy about that. I have yet to start it but maybe I will when I am hauled up in bed next.

I used my note pad to keep track of my healing by the way. So that was handy to have. The nurse that came in to check on me laughed at it. She thought it was cute. Wasn't happy that I had all that Chocolate to keep me happy. She was mad at the "empty" calories I was eating. but she let it go.
