Good afternoon pony folk!
This is a long shot as I'm hoping the winner of this auction is on this forum.
I received a box of 20 My Little Ponies this morning from Royal Mail, much to my surprise! I was utterly confused, as I don't generally have anything sent to my home address. I checked through my purchase history to make sure I'd not bought anything after one too many glasses of wine. Nothing. I phoned all my family to ask if they'd purchased anything, and everyone else was as confused as I was!
I did a search through eBay completed listings, and found the lot. It was from this seller: a.ramone
I'd bought a G1 Bubbles with French back card from the same seller, and can only assume that there has been an order cross-over. However what makes me confused is that I'd asked for Bubbles to be sent to my work address (double-checked eBay order details to confirm this) so I don't know why this box was sent to my home address :blink:
So if anyone here was the winner of that auction, or has received a pony they shouldn't have, please PM me and let me know! :cry:
I have contacted the seller to let them know of their mistake, but I'm not really sure of how to proceed from here... Any advice greatly appreciated!

I would wait to hear back from the seller. They will probably ask for you to return them, at their expense of course.
But I know I have done it on mistake before and asked my buyer to please forward it to the right person. And I paid them for shipping costs and a little extra for their trouble.

This situation has happened to me before, but I was the buyer. I was happy to ship the item to the correct person with the shipping covered, and it all worked out in the end. Hopefully everything goes ok for you too :)

I sent a message to the seller as soon as I worked out who it was this morning. There were no order details or anything. Hopefully they'll be able to help. I'm just anxious about sending the ponies back to the seller and not receiving Bubbles. I've been stung too many times in the past :cry:
The one I bought is this one - which I believe is either Italian or French (couldn't quite tell, but I own neither):

Whether you send it back to the seller or the correct buyer I second what the others have said about the SELLER paying for all the shipping.

Oh no!!! I won a lot from the same seller! :cry: :cry: :cry: I won the unicorn/pegasus lot ( it has princess sparkle and Locket in it amongst others, 10 ponies in total). I just got a message from them asking if I got my ponies yet and to tell them if I get thhe right ones....what a nightmare!
I guess I just have to wait......can you tell me what ponies you have received....maybe my lot is in there :yikes:
At least if I receive the bubbles moc I can at least send it to you, instead of sending it back to the seller :hug:

This happened to me on ebay with a different seller - the other buyer whose item I recieved (and who got the item I won) turned out to be another Arena member and we all worked things out without any problems. Hopefully your situation will turn out well too :hug:

I know it is stressful when you receive the wrong package, but I dont think I would worry too much just yet - you contacted the seller and they are aware of the situation. They didnt sell too many items recently so it might not take long for them to track down who they sent your Bubbles to. They may even have sent her to you as well :awake:

Hi Ringlets - yes that's the lot I received. So don't worry Partypony! The seller asked if I'd post it on to the correct buyer, which I agreed to do, but has so far not given me the address. They said they were waiting to hear from whomever had the incorrect package first. I don't really know why they won't give me the address now, but hey ho.
Fingers crossed it will all work out soon!

Just went along to the sorting office and Bubbles was waiting there for me! :lol:

And another lot of ponies which aren't mine. :shocked:
I've also received a G3 Peach Blossom, along with a few baby ponies. I've written to the seller, who I hope will pass on the address details for those of who should have had these.
If I happen to receive any more items that aren't mine, I'll let you guys know.

Yes the other lot was from the same seller. I actually just checked now, and it looks like it was the same winner as the lot of 20 ponies I received:

Boy, this seller is really confused though? It's a good thing they went to someone who is honest about having them and willing to send them off to their correct owners.

Thats ..reaally.. odd.. that you ended up with more ponies you didnt win though :faint: the seller must have got very confused :whoa: Like Ponylady said, it really is a good thing that these ponies went to someone honest cos that seller would be in big trouble otherwise and the buyer would be very disappointed. Hopefully the seller gives you the details for the winner of these ponies soon and you can send them to their new home :)

i am glad to hear things worked out :)
i remember when this happened to me! the seller was really upset and refunded the shipping. thankfully it was an arena member who got the pony which was intended for me (i got the pony intended for her!) so it was a happy ending.

Technically no, but the point was that someone honest got the packages and she did receive her pony ;)

This shouldn't be your problem.
Send one more message stating that you would like the addresses & the funds in advance to ship the ponies to their rightful owners.
Make this your last message if she doesn't respond. Just wait, don't stress. The bad feedback will be on her when the ponies take forever to get to the other buyers.

I am sorry Pangel you are having to go through this. I would send her another message and state your concerns.
How long has it been since your last message? There are peeps who are not on ebay everyday to check messages if they are just a casual seller. I would give it a few days and see what happens?
And although this should not be your problem as RPB stated, it happens. The good thing is that there are good folks out there that try and make it right. I wouldn't get upset, I am sure she will get back to you.

I agree - if the seller doesn't respond or won't give you the address, there's not much more you can do.
If it were me, I'd feel badly for keeping the ponies. I'd wait to see if the buyer leaves her feedback and then contact them directly if ebay gives their full ID and see if they'd like to pay for shipping them to them. I'm sure they'll get their money back, but most times that doesn't quite cover the disappointment in not getting the ponies. You're not obligated to, but might be something nice to do for a fellow ebayer that got screwed.
A different problem with this seller a.ramone: I bought a lot that had a boxed sticker kit in it. I asked if the set had specific stickers and sent a link that showed what the stickers looked like. The seller said the lot had those stickers in it (the ones in the link I sent) so I bid fairly high on the lot and won. I got the package. One sheet of stickers was included that was fine (unfortunately the set I don't need). The second set of stickers had all the packaging but no stickers. Two other sets of stickers was missing completely. It doesn't sound like this person is going to be fun to work with, but I was told the stickers I needed were included :(

They might be waiting to respond to get everything organized, figured out, and straightened on their end. If I was that seller I'd be frantic lol

Have you only try to contact the seller on the ebay mailing system?
Or have you trie dto write him at his paypal-emailaddy?
Maybe he will read it faster then the messages at ebay?

:crazy: this is definitely one confused seller! and I'm not surprised you are disappointed! the parcel mix up is one thing, but for this seller to reply and specifically state that the stickers you want are included, and then for them not to be included.. thats something on a whole new level :( did you contact the seller yet? If not, then politely let them know that while you got the package fine, you were disappointed to find that the stickers you specifially asked about were not not included. I would ask the seller if this is a mix up and if they have the missing stickers. See how they respond and take it from there. If they have them and they apologise and send them then thats great, but if they say no, then I would ask for a full refund/ return the item. if they dont want to work with you then you'll need to open an item not as described case(followed by an appropriate neg feedback if neccessary) . I hope it wont come to that though. Let us know how it goes :hug:

Thanks Ringlets, I did send a message yesterday. I always try to give sellers the benefit of the doubt first. I let her know that two of the sticker sets weren't in the box and one other was missing the stickers. I simply asked if she forgot to pack them. We'll see how it goes from there. I haven't heard from her yet though :(

I honestly think this seller needs to get her ducks in order before she sells anything else. What a mess!

Update: I just got a partial refund from the seller. She apologized and was nice about it. I got back half of the auction cost, which I felt was fair.
