so I got this pony from a UK seller when I purchased her GITD princess = at the time it seemed like a cool bonus... now I am wondering
so the story I got was this was the pony she disliked, didn't know why she kept her because her tail kept coming out so wasn't fun to brush etc.
so on the one hand ok, cool happy tails variant except
I am more familiar with uk oddballs that have white hair not primrose blue - so I am not sure if this really is a UK variant or not
so does anyone else have a princess tabby like this one??

Ooh she is cute! Looks like a head swap
-
Hrm, if she came from the UK, Variant weird princess is more likely than headswap. We did have happytails ponies here but only through import, they aren't excessively common...but there are a lot of weird mismatched princess and happytail parts in various forms of assembly here. I haven't seen this one before but there are people who know a lot more than I do about them. I wouldn't rule it out that this is another of that family. Not least because there's Princess Woosie, who has Woosie's body and Amethyst's head.
Plus, Happytail ponies have a thing on the top of their tail because of the mechanism. If that's absent here, as it seems to be, she's probably a variant princess.
She looks neat.
There are also quite a few Ruby related variations with blue or greenish hair, not white. So I would think that's what she is. I have heard 'Princess Tabby' mentioned before but I don't know if it refers to this particular combination. I have a couple of variant princesses which are almost identical but for one having tinsel and the other not, so there's a lot of variations between them.

i loveeeee her. this is princess Tabby and a very pretty one. i might add. she is leftover combo of the happy tales/ princess sets. factories took leftover and combine them into hole ponies and sold them to the shops during the end of the g1 lines. they are kinda rare and sought after. she is very beautiful

oooooh! and I love her little crown clip, it really adds :)
I have not seen one like this before, with a blue mane and tail! I have seen Princess Tabby with symbols, but with a white mane and tail.
There are three versions in the gallery, each is different:

Since she doesn't have the "ring" round her tail hole which the Happy Tail's ponies have and a regular looking tail, I don't think that she is a head swap at all.

Oh my goodness she is lovely!

yeah that was my concern that she was a put together pony but didn't look like anything in the gallery and the last princess tabby I had was the white hair with blue tinsel but there was no cat-stamp = so I agree with the others that were thinking she's just a primrose head swap :-)
I've been realizing I have more princess ponies than I can properly display at the moment so ... yeah, lotta MLP and I have not catagorized these guys at all :-) thanks for the input and I have decided to put her up for sale along with her cousins Amber and Dawn
happy holidays

ok so I am adding another oddball to this thread since I started... i have always liked the unusual even if just discolored in cases like my white bluebelle and that brown argie (ah man don't get me started on odd argies 'cause those ponies have quite the shady history sometimes) and I find it endearing that for the UK market here were workers trying their best to assemble MLP with bits and bobs so we now have all these combos that Hasbro hadn't invented :-) so
I got this bisanti along with a few others 'cause I like green... but I have never seen another green haired venne = any other collector out there have a green haired venne?
here's green

and then here are the other colors (there is also red but I didn't put that in). I don't think the hair was dyed, but I do worry 'cause it seems possible if the pony started out with blond hair it could be turned darker

maybe I am just paranoid about finally going through all this collection trying to do a better job of catagorizing stuff

texture feels just like a new venne, so it would be a reassurance if there was anybody else out there that has a green hair
thanks in advance
-
awesome! want! she's so pretty
-
Love that green hair on her!!!
What is she like inside? Does she have the knotted tail and factory weave? The length, texture and ends do look authentic.
I've not seen a green haired Venezuelan ponies before.

  so cool with green hair!!!
-
right - yep = all green on the weave inside and yes, tail has traditional venne knot no metal clip
the color is unique and that was my basis for questioning if it was a yellow that was dyed since I hadn't ever known another venne with this color... but then there is that two-toned (yellow-pink) venne so we do have some oddballs out there still with no known counterparts
I don't know if we've seen a green posey with yellow hair ( I have a lickety) so while I am hopeful this is a new color of hair that's legit from bisanti I would be forever grateful to know other collectors out there had this color also
thanks in advance for sharing and updating the venne list of hair-do's on these MLPs
-
You are right about there still being odd, unknown Venezuela ponies, such as the Lickety with the two-tone hair.
Thank you for looking inside and confirming what she's like inside, if it had been dyed the roots and tail knot might not take the dye.
Hopefully another with the same colour hair will show up, image a white Starshine with this green hair!
