I'm relieved that this lady is finally finished!
I started this custom with no real plan in mind and it was a struggle to get through. Add-ons were sculpted with polymer clay and the eyes were re-painted. The mane is a nightmare, I stupidly stuffed way too much hair in there and most of the hair plugs split open  Such a rookie mistake! The weird looking headpiece was a last minute addition to cover a split in her poor head!

Thanks for checking her out!

Oh, I love her! I'm a sea creature lover who loves purple, so it would have been easy, but there's to more to her than that - all the little molded details look totally cool and add a lot to the appearance. Suddenly she's no longer a toy pony, but an art sculpture. I also really like the colour blend in her hair. Sad to hear about a split plugs, but I'm happy you found a resolution to the issue :)

This looks beautiful! And I like the little octopus on her flank. All the parts have so much detail!

Ah, I've had that happen, too... so annoying! But you could never tell from the pictures, the headpiece looks lovely on her. Great job, I love her little octopus friend!

Aw, love that octopus! She's very pretty :)

I actually love the headpiece: it adds to the final effect, balancing the pony out so to speak. She is beautiful!

Very interesting idea! A literal seahorse
She looks great. I love the color mix in her mane and tail.

Thanks so much for all the feedback, it's appreciated!!
The octopus turned out far more 'cute' than realistic like I'd hoped for but my sculpting is slowly improving, painting of eyes seems to be getting better too, even though I am disappointed with the mane I definitely pushed some boundaries with the clay.
Have started another one already and am taking GREAT care with rehairing!!! Lesson learned!
Thanks again for all your kind words!

She looks lovely! It's the worst when the plugs split open, but you did a wonderful job covering it up.

She's cute, good save on the hairline. I think we've all had that one time or another.
