Title: If you had to pick only 1 G4 pony...
Post by: CottonTALE on February 12, 2014, 09:53:43 AM: Say you were in charge of helping to make the next series of toys, and you could only pick one G4 pony to make into a brushable figure. The catch is, you can only use the blind bag figures to save money on a new copyright... Who would that figure be and why?

I'll get things started, I would pick Golden Delicious:

The colours are very contrasting to any brushable made thus far, and it would stand out more on the shelves due to that. The colours are still "Girly" with the pinks, but it is a more gender-neutral pony with it being green.

Also Comet Tail would be awesome! before Flash Sentry was developed for the show, I pictured Twilight Sparkle and Comet Tail together.

Greenish blue ponies have always been my favorite I love... Golden Delicious would be awesome.. but I think the fact we have NEVER EVER had an official male pegasus ever released yet, not even by funko yet! I would have to choose Thunderlane love his hair, cutie mark and colors, they could easily cut his hair like they did for FS Shining Armor.

Can you explain to me why you think it looks awkward? A pony with a basket full of flowers as a cutie mark - seems to me like it would fit the core market by appealing to young girls.

Twilight Sky, Twilight Velvet, and Thunderlane... Hoity Toity and Photo Finish too, if they count. Too many pretty ponies!

Which is one of the reasons G1 ponies caught my attention as a little kid. All the various colors and cutie marks. Come on G4! Get with the program.

Something I cant explain but I just think it looks really ugly, and not being a young girl I don't find it appealing! Lol I like cutie marks thats are like animals and bugs, plants, elements, interesting objects, shapes like moons, stars, food, etc. maybe thats just me.

If I had to pick only one though I'd choose Sweetie Blue, only because we've been teased with her prototype before.

They are so similar. I've wondered if the Princess Celebration Bakery with Mrs. Dazzle Cake & Twirly Treats might have originally been for Sweetie Blue & the yellow unicorn filly then Hasbro changed their mind and decided it needed the actual show character baker pony + pink filly.

Oh totally! My Lyra brushie needs somepony to play with :D I'd imagine she'd be released in those TRU Fan Favourites packs since she is popular within the brony community
