A few weeks ago, I bought an anniversary Pinwheel at Target. I hadn't realized how pretty she is with fresh symbols. I set her, sill in her box, on a shelf while I decided what to do and forget about her.
Well, she fell off the shelf today. I picked her up to put her back and...well...her horn snapped off! I'm not sure how this happened, but dang, she must be hard as a rock in there!
I still can't figure out how to post a pic, but she has a gaping hole in her head, and her horn is rattling around the bottom of the box.

:dropjaw: :ack: gees that is not good, for photos flickR is a great host for posting photos, that's what iv always used, i think there may be tutorials on how to do it under sigs and site support.

ooh, ouch. Poor Pinny. I have never heard of that happening before, and I'm so sorry it happened.
I guess if you look for a silver linkng, if you have Tempest Shadow, she can have a broken horn buddy....

Wow, that seems like it must be a manufacturing error of some kind. I've never heard of that happening to a pony horn. It reminds me of once we got one of the super-tough black Kong dog toys for my mom's dog - an elderly lab - and he bit it a couple times and the top knob just popped off. We took it back to the store and they replaced it and the new Kong lasted forever. They said they had never seen anything like it and it must be a manufacture error. Maybe you can take it back to the store and they could replace or refund you...although I guess maybe not right now...

Maybe you could reglue the horn? Or go back to the store?

Happened to me once (not My Little Pony). It was my figure of Geccko Moria from One Piece, I had him in his box without the plastic that held him secure in the box. The box fell and his feet came off. Well luckily we had super glue in the house and glued his feet back on. As for his box it got dented and had to through it away.

I would email basic fun! They gave great customer service! I once emailed them about an issue I had with a twilight and they sent me a new one for free!

Oh wow, never heard of that happening before O_O I second trying Basic Fun, from what others have said they seem to have very good customer support :)

I'm going to try again with the pics. In the last one, you can see the broken off horn in the bottom. The weird thing it, I can't figure out what she could have possibly even hit it on. I never opened the box, so she must be a factory error.

Bizarre. Definitely see about a replacement. And if the original doesn’t need to be exchanged, be sure to open her up and see what the rest of her feels like bc I’m seriously curious now.

UPDATE:
Basic Fun is going to replace her. Since I had nothing to lose, I took her out of the box and...she's not that brittle! Her body is harder than the average pony, but nothing like I thought it would be. I squished her over and over and nothing else cracked or broke.
A drop of superglue put her horn right back where it belonged.

Oh no, that's awful! If it's any consolation, I deboxed my new Glory and as soon as I took that weird plastic thing off her hair, several of the bottom plugs of her mane just came right up like an unraveling sock. :( Factory errors happen, maybe try e-mailing them. Best wishes.

Great to hear that Basic Fun are replacing her :) They seem like a really stand-up company.
Weird that it was just her horn that was brittle, though. o.O I wonder what happened to make it that way...
