Title: Can you sun fade ponies other that white one's?
Post by: gemini_pony on April 28, 2020, 03:07:14 AM
So I had this dirty skydancer sitting in my bait bag for years. She has a chip from one ear but I cleaned her up and decided I like her too much to bait (Plus I'm not going to customize any G1s unless in horrible conditions). So she has a green marker spot on her face....can I sun fade this? My balcony is sunlight central.

Not sure if this helps but there is a small list of ponies that have been considered safe to sunfade: http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,336125.0.html

I noticed lemondrop was considered safe, who is also yellow like skydancer. Now mind you each pony is different, so definitely keep an eye for burning or further discoloration.

Yes, you can sunfade marks out of non-white ponies (and just sunfade non-white ponies in general). I've never heard of Skydancer burning (I don't think many non-white ponies do), but as always, keep an eye on her just to be safe.
