:sunny: Game Details :sunny:

"Gift Grab Dice Game"
Supplies:
- everyone brings 2-3 wrapped presents (plus extra if bringing a plus one)
- value should be $1-$3. You may pop in an item of slightly higher value, totally your call. Ups fun.
- suggestions for gifts: ponies, accessories, merch, plush, backcards, paper ephemera, art, customs, handmade items, G1 retro stuff, candy/snacks. (Please note that G1 items are way more popular than G4 merch...)

Instructions:
1. Everyone sits in a circle, around pile of wrapped presents.
2. Shake, roll, grab, pass! Two baking tins with three dice each are passed around the circle. There are three rounds:
Round I The first round is not timed. Everyone gets a chance to roll the dice. If you roll doubles, pass the dice tin & select a gift from the middle. If no doubles, just pass the tin. Round end when there are no more gifts in the middle. It is OK for people to have multiple presents, and some people to not have any presents at all – it happens!
Round II Timed round. Set a timer (with a LOUD ringer!) for ~5 minutes (depends on size of group). Play proceeds as former round, only this time when doubles are rolled, select a gift from someone else’s pile. Round ends when timer goes off! (If someone rolled doubles BEFORE the timer sounds they still get to pick a gift).
3. Everyone opens their presents. No hiding the good ones – you must show everyone your gift!
Round III Timed round. This time set the timer for a shorter period, but one that will still allow each person to get 2-3 rolls in. When doubles are rolled, select an unwrapped gift of your choice from another player! Round ends when timer goes off! (If someone rolled doubles BEFORE the timer sounds they still get to pick a gift).
4. Victory dance if you got the gift you wanted! Of course, there’s bound to be plenty of bartering, trading, and occasionally giving to those that didn’t get any presents at all. Also if a player did not get a gift, they are invited to select something from the prize table. Everyone’s a winner!

Yay! I thought this wasn't happening because of the fair.  I am going to try and convince the hubby that we need to go.  Oh, and I vote Sugarberry for Host Pony

Nessa and I both have Sugarberry in our signatures. It's a sign from the Pony Goddesses. And strawberries are a really good summer theme. Though I feel like I should mention that out of all the ponies to craft, she's got some serious symbol to try and roll with. How many strawberry buttons do you think I can find? Or white material with strawberries on it? Oooh, ok, now I'm excited about trying this.

I finally decided to actually look up the date for the Pony Fair, and answered my own question. This will be nice- I can give someone money to pick me up an exclusive! And make them a Sugarberry!

Have we heard what the exclusive will be this year?  If there is an exclusive trading card from Enter-Play, I would definitely want that. I had better be able to attend the MN meet this time if Sugarberry is host; she is my very favorite!  It's going to be very interesting finding out how this years fair goes with all the newness of Hascon...

Oh....I'm moving back to the Midwest the last week of August! I'll be in Iowa, about 20 minutes from the MN border.  Wonder if I can make it again this year...  might be too close to the start of my kiddos school though.  It's been quite a few years since I attended the last one though!

Hi, Cloud-Weaver!
What part of the border? I'm north of Clear Lake/Lake Mills, sort of by Albert Lea in Minnesota. I had a meet this spring, and I'm planning to do it again, so that might be even closer for you!

Nessa, I haven't heard anything about the exclusive. Boo.

I want to come....I sure will try....I doubt I am going to Rhode island now.... probably no vendors so nothing awesome to buy....fairs not even really happening... Sundays are far easier to miss at work than Saturdays so it's doable.

I've been following you guys' threads for awhile now - I used to live in MN and, with luck, will move back there eventually. I hope you are still doing meets at that point! In the meanwhile, I hope you have fun this September! This sounds like it'll be an exciting one :)

Yay! I will make sure to have things ready this time. *laughs* I should be able to one of these times, right? :D

Planning to make strawberry-rhubarb jam, so I'll be sure to bring some. Also, in cleaning out the attic to put a bath fan in, we discovered our old rocking horse; might be bringing that along as well. Looks like all the parts are here.

Will there be a mailing list going out to let people know? :)

Do you have enough sugar????

I made rhubarb jam, but it's not setting, so it's rhubarb syrup. And it's really good. I might drink it.

Got her, Whizzer! I'm sorry I forgot her on the first list! I was just going through the pages from last year's meet, and if someone's name appeared there, they got a message. Ice Gypsy must not have done much chatting- at least not in the first 12 pages!

I'm right by Minnetonka. I can't recall anyone else being from my area, but hopefully it won't be a problem. My husband usually tries to make sure I can have the car whenever I need it, but he won't be able to help it if his job requires overtime. That's the only thing we can't predict!

I don't need to eat anything else. Or drink anything else. I'll bring food for other people, but all I need is this amazing tiramisu.
Actually, I will provide the valuable service of protecting you all from the tiramisu. You should never eat this stuff and then make important purchasing decisions. You'll get home and wonder why you thought another Cotton Candy was a good idea.
You're welcome.

Thank you. Lol no ponies at the wedding doing an underwater theme at the reception. I really can't believe getting married on a beach together. Ironic though that it will be so close to the big pony fair and will not be going to that one either but by the sounds of it few people are and that is what makes it fun the people and finding cool things. I am coming up to the twin cities on Sunday going to hit the mall with my new family b4 the wedding. Any idea of other cool things to do for 3 girls 12, 14, and 15??

 Well, you can have my portion. Alcohol and I don't usually get along, so unless you want to see me making funny faces again... ;)

Anyway, despite the fleas, things are chugging along for me. I need to make more molds before my Oomoo-30 expires, so also hope to have more jewelry pieces this time around. Currently, I'm seeing if I can make some door/drawer pulls. :)

Woohoo! Lol

I have a few doubles laying around and an extra Megan's Place building to sell. I only have a handful of G1 USA releases I am looking for and lots of accessories, as well as something from all of the other generations.

Strawberry salad sounds good. :) I need to finish making my list of accessories and ponies i have, along with my other projects - but I'm still waging war against fleas. The foggers didn't kill/affect all of them. I'm going to start buying plastic totes for my ponies and fabrics so I can get rid of the cardboard boxes. So much more cleaning. :yikes:

Gah!!...I can feel your pain....I work at the pet store and we got mites on the small animals somehow....it's happened before.....but I always know because I am highly sensitive to their bite....most people don't feel them but I do big time....so itchy...they are worse than fleas....so if I am at work I am super itchy when I yet home and try to sleep..... whoever gets bit reacts hrs later usually....so annoying

On a different note...what shall I bring.... probably cookies , or chips or something that travels well....seeing it's a 5 hr drive for me....
Has anyone called dibs on chips or cookies???

Yeah, I hear that. The moment one bites me I start itching. >_< Why they like me more than my mother I don't know. At least they seem to be few and far between at the moment. I'm looking forward to winter, though, let me tell you! We've decided we're going to treat the cats for them year round, now.

I'm hoping to be able to get going on my projects and pony sorting, now. I haven't even been able to test the earring mold, yet! :( Since the fabric is all washable, I will probably transfer those to totes later on. Not that ponies aren't washable, but they take more time to clean, especially the so-softs; come to think on it, I was thinking of posting about that on tumblr, like the one gal does for her collection. I also realized that I have three seperate shelves attatched to the pony cabinet, so need to get those supported elsewhere before I take the cabinet down to remake it. Luckily I realized this before I started to take the cabinet down.

I don't think anyone has claimed cookies, no. See if you can stick with the strawberry theme? ;) I'm still not sure what I'll be bringing, aside from strawberry-rhubarb cheater jam.

Listmaster, you mean? It's commercially available - I have zero programming skills. ^^; Should be available in the App Store, for around $8 it I recall right. I love it!

I'm thinking of bringing chocolate-dipped strawberry Rice Crispy balls. Thoughts?

Heads up, ya'll! We just extended the invitation to the entire pony community, and expanded the festivities to include Saturday as well. The planning and itinerary logistics haven't changed for Sunday, so no worries if you can't make it a weekend thing. But let me know if you can, so I can reserve a camping/sleeping bag spot for you!

Listmaster- i will look that up. There are a few sea ponies and g3's that i could use a ref picture when i am out and about.

PQ, you continue to be my hero.

Hmm. I don't know that you can upload pictures to listmaster; you can certainly type in the description, though.

 Ponyqueen, it sounds like you're trying to turn this into a new convention! :D Sounds good to me. ^.^

Edit: Let's see... I'm off work at 3pm on Saturday, then I'll have to drive down to Albert Lea to pick up Blackfrost and her mom, so the earliest I could get there is 7(ish), depending on traffic. *If* Blackfrost's mom is ok with spending the night, anyway. Might wind up getting them on Sunday morning instead, in which case I'd be leaving your house around 5am to drive down there and back.

I am definitely going to need selling space for a table; I've taken 15 credits this semester (my Spanish II class is all online, though), so have to get the house all cleaned up before classes start (so the clutter doesn't stress me out along with the homework this time), and that includes going through ponies, so will also have more G1 ponies to sell, in addition to jewelry. Hopefully the risers I'm buying will help. I might set up like I plan to for Furry Migration.

Edit 2: Looks like picking them up on Sunday is going to be the way it works. No worries. :) This is going to be so much fun! :D Now if you'll excuse me - I have a ton of cleaning to do before school starts up in about 2 weeks. ^^;

I discovered a list program on my phone where i can upload pictures. I will give that a whirl before i try to find something else- i really only need a few ref pictures, i will probably know hushabye when i see her!

PQ, i would like to reserve a tent space for saturday. This sounds amazing!
Question- if i bring brats or brat burgers, is jeff willing to cook them? Or i can cook them at home and keep them warm in a crock pot. Is there a preference?

Hey Ponyqueen? Just a thought - you might want to change the topic heading to mainly be the Midwest Pony Jubilee (formerly MN MLP Meet) so it garners more attention for non-MN residents. I'm wondering how many people are skipping over the topic heading after the word Minnesota.

Also, if you'd like someone to run a customs panel, I could whip something up for it! :D Please let me know. ^.^

Edit: I think I'll only stay until 8 or 9pm on Saturday; I'll have to leave around 5am to pick up Blackfrost and Peggy, and don't want to inconvenience anyone by also waking them up. So I will leave Saturday night and come back in the morning between 9 and 10 am (hopefully earlier, so I can set up my table). :)

Jubilee is cross-posted in Fair arena- I wanted to make sure MN folks didn't overlook this main thread. ;)

We always talk about a custom panel, but never do it! So, yes! I know we have a couple other customizers, so we could have a 2-3 person panel. This would be a Saturday event. :)

Glad to hear you will be able to join the Saturday fun! I am planning on making a nice indoor area for presentations, and creating a dedicated gallery space!

I don't know about other people, but regardless of where a pony meet is, I always wonder if it is one I'll be able to attend. It doesn't matter to me who/ what location is hosting it. If I were going to be in Austria and there was a meet in France, I'd be googling the distance between the two countries to see if it was possible. I don't think I'm alone here. (Maybe I'd be alone in Austria...) So knowing where a pony meet is taking place and when is the most important to me. I've never felt unwelcome at another state's meets- usually Wisconsin, they're reasonably close- and it's a fun way to meet new people and see new places.
Just my two cents. I don't think it matters where in the title the information is- Pony Meet People will find it.

Hey, team!
Since I'm in charge of food on this site, and because I get to add what I want to the pork that becomes the bratwurst, are there any allergies or food choices that we should know about?
Vegetarian?
Gluten-less?
I only eat carrot-based foods?

ANNNDDD-
Is there anyone who is planning on going to Hascon? My nephew just asked if I had heard of Hascon. We had a delightful discussion (looking forward to that part of Pony Jubilee!) about the Pony Aspect of it and then he said he really wants the exclusive Magic Cards that will be there. So I'm looking for someone to impose upon. Name your price.

My husband is pretty confident he won't have to work on the weekend of the meet so I should be there. :D I'm thinning my herd by a lot, plus my husband is giving me a few Transformers to sell. I thought someone might be interested in those?

Man, herd thinning is hard though... I keep picking up ponies and saying, "nooo I can't, I love her." Then putting them back down. lol

I am coming with Wizzer, I don't know what to bring for food really but it has to be something that travels well lol (or we can pick up on the way?)
Too bad I can't find those marshmallows shaped/flavored like strawberries but I think they were an Easter thing. Because they are cute and sugarberry themed :)

Ok I thought of a thing for me to bring: Strawberry flavor soda/pop
And I'll try to find some other strawberry flavored something else too if I can hehe  ^.^

Sorry I haven't posted sooner, I haven't been on the arena much lately...

Back from my vacation! Goodness, do I have some catching up to do!
I think I got everyone into the potluck listings on the first page- if I missed you, please let me know.
SaraMari, Neon, it looks like we could use more chips and drinks. There is also a spot open for main dishes, but there are two side dishes that have some oomph to them.
Whatever you bring will be amazing.

Now to PM some people!

Strawberry pop is a good idea! I saw strawberry flavored marshmallows in the baking aisle the other day. I don't think they were shaped like strawberries though.

Looks like I'm coming! Does anybody have any candy or dessert related allergies I should know about? My mom mentioned a really neat shop in a nearby town that makes elaborate dessert items for special occasions.  :relaxed:

I would be intetested in seeing the royal figures, at least! Glory and Firefly especially, if they aren't terribly awkward.

I'll bring all of my duplicates.  I think I may have an extra Minty too.  :)  They all have their cards as well.  Would you like a box too?  I sent most of my extra boxes to LostPony, but I have a couple still around.

I've caught what is either a sugar glider or (more likely) a small flying squirrel that's okay with humans. It was in my basement, it is now in a glass jar in my kitchen. What do I do with it?? Help!

Edit; there are pictures on my twitter (@kazzellin).

Edit 2: waiting on a call back from a local wildlife rescue place. :)

That is quite possibly the strangest question i have gotten since "I hit a vulture with my car, what do i do?"  It sounds like you tried the main one. I would try the police station (non-emergency) or a vet. Animal control? Local pet stores should be open today and might have an answer.
Ok, that is all i have. When i was visiting family in Indiana over Thanksgiving one year, we found a duck trapped in between two doors at a closed walgreens. I called the police, and though the dispatcher was amused, she sent someone over to help the duck.
I dont have twitter, so hold onto the picture so i can see it! And ok with humans might mean its a pet, or it is sick or scared. Be really careful!

A glass jar? I hope there are holes in the lid... those things like their oxygen...

If it's a flying squirrel, just release it back into the wild. They are quite nocturnal, and native to Minnesota.

Glass jar with no lid - I used a tub of joint compound to keep it in. And yup! I took it outside and put it in the apple tree. I'd have called you, but I lack your phone number. Luckily animal rescue didn't take long to call me back. :)

@Aurora: "I hit a vulture with my car" - oh dear! That must have been quite the adventure for them!

I just finished my drawing! I think it's adorable- do I need to frame it or anything?

And Ashley is working on her craft project.

There need to be three in each category for it to be a competition, so even if mine is not up to Whizzer or Foxfire standards (not to mention PonyQueen!) at least it will add to the total competing.

I've got my husband working on a stand to clamp to my table to display the little ornament ponies. Ashley and I have been busy- Nimrodel, your Fizzy is really cute! I also found a little bonus for you at the thrift store!

This will be the THIRD time I've asked this question, but Del, are you the one who owes me a leg?

Heads up everyone! Coloring contest line art coming your way! We will have printed sheets available at the Saturday night slumber party for those choosing to partake- we can color and watch pony movies! They will also be available on Sunday for coloring as well. If you'd like to get a head start, please pm Aurora and she can send you the file to print yourself, and you may work on it at your leisure. Just don't forget to bring it to the Jubilee!

The line art features Sugarberry of course! It is a semi-custom image of our host pony relaxing in a patch of strawberries. :) The background is white canvas, with room for creativity.

Aurora:  I'm planning on bringing strawberry soup (contains milk products)   ^.^  Also sending you a PM with my email...

Does anyone have an extra host pony that I could borrow for the picture?  I'm not sure I'll have time to run over to my storage until and look for her.  :-S

Best if you can bring an extra table, even if it's small. We always need more for prize table, food & activity stuff it seems. :)

PQ, Foxfire will be coming with me on Saturday, too. I'm smuggling her through customs in a jar (with air holes).
Kazzy, how did your squirrel release go?
Nim- HOORAY! Me leg!  D'AAARRRR!

I've printed the coloring sheets, and emailed them to the two people who asked. I'm glad we'll be able to color during the movie. You'll know which one is mine by the popcorn smears!

I'm terribly curious what strawberry soup tastes like- it sounds good!

Once again I have over-crafted and can't decide which one to enter in the contest. It will depend how the eyes turn out...

I am bringing one extra table- it is meant to hold the coloring stuff, which will be in a basket on the table. If it needs to be a portable coloring basket, I'm fine with someone using my table.

So exciting- one more day of work, then a PONY MEET! Huzzah!

Squirrel release ended with squirrel outside and me not going downstairs for a few days. And finding a dead flying squirrel in the glue trap (for fleas) we had on the door frame when I finally did last night. I don't know how he got back inside! Blackfrost suspects there might have been more than one... I don't know. I buried him in the backyard, glue trap and all. Poor guy...

I am not planning to spend Saturday night, as I have cat boxes that get cleaned nightly, and cats that worry when I'm not home on time. ^.^ Also, might be picking up Bianca Sunday morning; not sure on that.

Aww, poor little thing. I applaud your efforts, Kazzy- no one could have done better.

On a happier note, the bratburgers are lovely and huge and a little extra juicy- they are gonna smell so GOOD cooking! There are some basic spices in them, nutmeg and mustard, sugar and salt, nothing too exotic.

I am bringing crayons, colored pencils, and a small handful of markers. Nothing fancy. If you need fancy coloring tools, you should bring them.

Two more sleeps!

I have 4 shopping bags stuffed with ponies looking for new loving homes! Most are freshly cleaned but some need a good spa day haha.

I also have some cute G1 merchandise from Japan for prizes

That was amazing. Just amazing. If there was a group with more kindness, generosity, honesty, loyalty, magic and laughter, I don't know where we would find it. It might be dorky, but you all know it is true.
We all have Jeff's address, I know I'm going to write him a physical letter and mail it- knew i shpuld have grabbed his phone number! Oops! Thats ok, it gives me a chance to use the postal service. (Also, i took the auto-correct feature off my phone, so ignore the little grammar errors.)
I really loved the way we did the raffle ticket prize table thing. Not only did it give us all chances to win, it helps to defray some of the costs of a pony meet for the host. A potluck is an awesome way to go, but there are a lot of little costs that even the hostess doesnt realize are happening. I vote to keep doing that in the future!
Other than losing our actual hostess to the job opportunity of a lifetime, the only thing i can think of that could use improvement is not getting to see Kazzys custom tutorial. I truly want to see it, but having been part of the two-day experience, i know it would be PERFECT the night before. Lets try again next year, I think it will be amazing.

More later, i just wanted to say how deeply pleased i am with the last two days!

Oh yes, thank you so much for hosting ponyqueen and hubby. It was wonderful! Wish ponyqueen was able to stay for her own meet but happy that we got to visit the night before. I highly recommend the night before option because it was great to just sit and chat without feeling that piny convo is off the table! Best part of these meets is the socializing with other pony people!  Thanks to Aurora for stepping into pq's shoes and helping her hubby out!

The brag "panel" was a good idea to see some rare pieces that otherwise we may not get a chance to see, touch, and hold in a lifetime (or even know that they existed like tje baby TV toy that Wizzer had). Finally, it was awesome to see al the Sugarberry/Strawberry Fair ponies and items. I am glad she could be host pony as she's my favorite and I love strawberry flavored food and drink!

Thank you everyone, that was a really great time. I totally agree with Aurora, she definitely said far better than I could.

I would really like to host a meeting around halloween, for now it is just an idea but I am going to try my best to make it into a pony day we can all enjoy while we wait for the december one... feels soooo far away.....

Can I just throw an idea out there for future dice games? I love this game and it is super fun. I know there are tons of ways to get a hold of fun retro and vintage g1 items as well as fun G4 stuff. The way I se it when I find stuff to bring for the game is this.... is this something I would want. I've noticed so many things like baits and fakies ect. For future games here are two amazing sellers that offers fun retro 80s items that are affordable

The80sRainbow on etsy
Anthropomorph7 on eBay

Just an idea :)

A Halloween party would be so much fun!!!!

Thank you Ponyking and Aurora for an awesome meet! Had a great time and look forward to the next one. ^.^ I will be posting pictures as soon as I figure out how to upload them from my phone. ^^;

Edit: How soon do we want to start hashing out ideas for the winter meet? I like the cookie idea!

Scarlet, I usually pick things up all year for the dice games, and it's usually stuff I have multiples of, so I know I wanted it!  I really enjoyed the addition of the kids- they look for very different things than us, and even though Gusty went home with a car full of stuff that she has to deal with, the rest of us got to fight over the things that made us happy. Plus, it's fun to have things that are amazing, and some things that are white elephants. The bags of baits are fun to me- we have some customizers in our group, and those could actually be really handy for them!

I second Nessa's comment about the "night before." It was super-fun to sit down with other pony people, get to know them a little better, maybe get a little weird and have a drink or two--- and so much popcorn. Egad. I had so much chocolate and popcorn! Next year we might even make it down to the bonfire...

Kazzy, I think PQ is hosting the Christmas meet. (I am willing, but my road may be crazy by then. I really want to stick to hosting during fair weather, for those of you who drive low-riding vehicles.) We've been trying to keep it so the hostess makes the first post in the thread, because when things like times and locations need to be altered, it gets altered on the first thread so it is easy to find. Also, you've seen how organized she makes the first thread- vs mine, which is not as tidy. So I think we will wait until she gets back. I have until then to wrap my mind around a cookie exchange.

Bianca, if you do want to do a Halloween party, just start a post about it. Include the word Minnesota, so we all know to pay attention. After that, these things have a way of shaping themselves, and you just have to give the right direction for the shape to go. As for pictures, I think I only took two. One is of Gusty's daughter by the Sugarberry Corner, and the other is the group shot. I'll try to post them- I'm hoping to snuggle up to IMGUR later and see if it works for me.

Whizzer- I got the wrinkly Genie! You were wondering where she went, and I figured out what you were talking about! She's fine, I don't need to exchange her or anything, I just didn't completely understand what you meant.

Neon, what do you think?

And two more, just cuz I can...

Thanks, everyone! Its actually not hard to herd you people- if this happens again, anything requiring organization will be done before noon. Then i can just schlum around and spend money!

Nim, I have your buttons. I have 2 copies of the posters, so i can be sure to get at least one good button of each ponysona, depending how i cut it. I had a little argument with the first ones, until i started peeling the back paper off.
I have to check how much the new button thing parts are, but i think the prices on these are going to be between 50 cents and a dollar.
I have made a basket of buttons so far! Theyre fun!

Thanks so much Aurora  PQ & PQ husband!  We had such a fun time!  It was great to see all my favorite pony people  (of course we all missed PQ though).  I also wanted to thank everyone for making my kiddos feel special.   They had so much fun & although I brought home WAY too many fakies and free bin merch, the looks on their faces made it priceless!  A super huge thanks to Aurora for the mega bag of HP stuff for Kaitlyn!   She's still flying high about it and it all has a place in her roon!  She is just so over the moon, I can't thank you enough  *pony hugs*
Excited for a Xmas meet, hopefully I make  it this year!

@ Aurora
I think I could probably do a small meet end of october, I am trying to figure out if my husband is going to be around to help, hencewhen he is going to have his Army Drill weekend. I have a few health issues and I don't think I could pull it off by myself right now.

I think I just drank waaaay too much limoncello....

I will be drinking too much something later! If you want some help and your husband is at drill, im perfectly happy to help. You dont need alot of extra stuff, if you have a table for snacks and space for us to trade/sell, you have a meet. Some meets are just a group meeting at a restaurant and they communicate alot before the meet for sales and trades.
If you want any advice or to send a tiramisu revipe, feel free to pm me.
I will keep an eye out for anything abput your meet!

When PQ was discussing the Christmas meet, she mentioned Decemner 9th, or at least that weekend.

Is anyone going to the MLP movie on opening night? I want to go to a theater with the special popcorn buckets, and woyld be open to coming up the southern part of the cities.
If no one else is going, i will go to Mankato- their website shows they have the buckets.

Thoughts?

I'm back! (But I'm leaving again tomorrow for two weeks, ah!)

So glad to hear the Jubilee was a hit! Sorry about the disappearing act, though. I had an amazing experience as a naturalist aboard the National Geographic Sea Lion vessel! Here is a peak at what I was up to: https://www.expeditions.com/daily-expedition-reports/alaska/ng-sea-lion/

Thanks to all for being so great! Love seeing the pictures!

That is a spectacular cruise, and a delightfully blurry picture of you in your tundra glory! We missed you- remind me to thank you for leaving without telling anyone!- but it went well. I am glad Jeff got the house repainted before you got back!

My best friend lives in Ely, so I feel your pain. On the upside, I always have somewhere to stay in Ely! Not too many pony meets there, though.

Hey all!

So, anyone missing a lullabye nursery? One materialized in my garage, and i don't think it's mine?

Also- Nimrodel (pm forthcoming)- your artwork is ready for pick-up! Maybe we could meet up over dinner and do a hand-off?

That nursery was a prize. The winner seems to have taken the bow and left the rest. It was the very last thing on the prize table. I was also being feisty, i had taken one of the free boxes but didnt want to take more. I would say it is safe to donate it.
Did Jeff tell you about the raffle ticket prize table thing? It worked pretty brilliantly, we sold lots of raffle tickets, and the prizes (minus the nursery) all found loving homes. I think we should keep doing that, and maybe not have as many craft contests. I know lots of us are crafty, but only a couple of us entered more than the art or coloring contest. Keep those, drop the others. Makes me a little sad, since those are my sort of thing, but it is the truth. Any other thoughts?

We'll def keep doing the coloring contest, seems to get consistent participation. :)  Raffle sounds good. The winter party will be much more streamlined, I think, being smaller etc.

All- save the date for Sunday December 10th for the winter party! I'll post a planning thread soon!
