I know vinyl blind box figures are a dime a dozen these days, but I found a cute new series at the store where I work today. I bought a couple and I think they're adorable, so I was wondering if anyone else collects them?
They're called Cloud Cats and they're made by a company named Paka Paka. They're about 3 inches tall and pretty heavy (definitely solid vinyl, not hollow).
If anyone else has any and wants to become a trading partner with me, let me know! I wouldn't mind getting a few more and I don't think there's any way to tell which figure is inside, so I suspect I'll have quite a few duplicates soon.
Each toy comes with 1 vinyl and a double-sided flyer that tells you about the cute characters and also shows all the different options/rarities.

They're $5.99 each. They come in a pale blue plastic sphere, so unfortunately there's no way to squeeze the package and figure out which one is inside.

Ah, thanks. That's the same price on Amazon. I just wondered if they were inflated from there. You can only buy 3 at a time though. I'd buy a whole case of these, tbh :lol:

I'm really tempted to go back to work and buy the rest of the box. >_>;; I try not to go overboard when I find a new obsession LOL. But they're so tempting!
I've never heard of Amazon limiting how many you can buy! LOL what a silly place. Maybe they're low on stock and waiting to restock.

These are made by funko! I bought an entire case online so I got them all except the rare dragon :3 they are super cute, I especially love the rainbow ones.

Okay so I couldn't resist, I had to go back and buy the rest of the box of these cuties. ^^; There were a few already purchased, but I think I bought just about a full box.
I was worried about getting duplicates, but as it turned out, I got one of each! That made me super happy. I even got the weird random chase figure LOL. (It wasn't a cat, it was some monster guy with a crown.)
I didn't get either of the two "hyper rare" (1/36) kitties, but other than that, I have the full set now.

This guy is named Durp. He's my least favorite pose, but I can't turn down that adorable face. I renamed him Pudge because he is definitely a fatty (just like my RL cat LOL)

Pounce is my favorite pose, I love his determined little face! Lookit this calico guy and his little mismatched toe beans!!!

Stretch is my second favorite pose. I love that his feet are going in different directions. TOE BEEEANNNS

This is his second coloring. He's got a dark blue glittery body, with green stripes. I dunno, the dark blue and green don't really go together, in my opinion. I would have liked it if it was dark green glitter and light green stripes, or blue glitter and blue stripes. But still, he's a cutie. And I don't think they did this on purpose, because it's not advertised on the flyer, but I found out the stripes glow in the dark! He was on my nightstand when I went to bed and when I turned out the lights, I noticed he was glowing.

This pose makes me laugh, but I get a little bored with the figures because they're just a plain solid color. There's purple and white, and the 'ultra rare' chase figure is metallic pink. If they had gotten any markings, like the other kitties, I would have liked them more. (Also I dunno why the purple guy has a rainbow without blue in the stripe, but I've checked on ebay and they're all like that, so it's not a factory error.)

And lastly, this is my favorite of all the kitties! He's made to look like van Gogh's Starry Night! Eeee, what a great idea for a cloud-based kitty! I don't know if you can tell from the photo, but he's made with a translucent blue plastic, with opaque markings painted on him in blue and yellow, and the whole effect is really beautiful. Love his yellow eyes on the dark face.

Oh so I see! I did some googling for other Paka Paka products. I think the Cloud Cats are the cutest, but there's some cute food ones as well. The, erm, Toilet Ninjas are... interesting too. ^^;

I thought it was so weird when I opened the ball and found something besides a cat in it LOL. Is he the Paka Paka mascot or something?
I'm not a big fan of him so I would be interested in selling/trading him at some point. You didn't happen to get an extra of the metallic pink rainbow kitty, did you? ^^;

Did you happen to see the Fruit Bats? I think they are the second cutest set after the Cloud Cats.

AWWW! Just googled them. They are SO cute! Love that slices of fruit are the cute little batty ears. If I see these in the store, I might have to pick some up!

My work got another whole box of these! If anyone is interested, let me know and I can pick some up for you. :) It's $4.75 each with my employee discount, plus shipping. Unfortunately I don't think there's a way to tell which cat is inside before buying. :(

My spending for the month is done, but next month I plan on getting some. I found a few places where you can buy a case but they were sold out already, so I guess I'll get 3 at a time from Amazon.
For some reason, they are 9 dollars at Wal-Mart :crazy:

FINALLY found these guys!! They were $6 each at Books A Million. I grabbed 5 without realizing how much they were, but all 5 were different and included 2 uncommons! I'm so happy, I was looking everywhere (supermarkets, discount stores, game stores) and couldn't for the life of me find any.

UK peeps - my local(ish) Entertainer store has these in! In my store they're pretty well hidden, they're tucked away near the checkouts - I only found them by chance - so you might have to look hard for them if your store's laid out like mine is x) Figured I'd pass the news on in case any other UK folks were looking for them.
I haven't gotten one myself, they're cute but there's only one or two I *really* like so I'd rather not pay out for a surprise... maybe if they go on clearance. ;) But it's nice to see them over here, I don't see a lot of random vinyl figures like this locally (by "random" I mean original characters, not ones based on a TV show or w/e).

There's a bunch of them on eBay. :) You can buy only the ones you want, that way.
