Title: My first mini pony mail!
Post by: emily_katie on May 27, 2018, 12:42:32 PM: Yesterday my first small pony mail bought from the Arena arrived!

I was lucky enough to buy my first ever So-Softs from the lovely Lipstickcat :) So soft ponies aren't everyones cup of tea but I have been facinted by them for a long time :biggrin: So who did I buy?

Magic Star and Buttons!
I usually take photos of my ponies in a more studio-esque fashion, but I am not at home with my unicorn blanket backdrop so my mums garden had to do :P

I'm very taken with these two :) I might go as far to say that This particular magic star is my favourite pony in my collection :happy: I am especially happy since Taffeta's website, the My Little Pony Scrapbook (The font of all G1 UK MLP knowledge) suggests that these two perhaps didn't see an official flocked UK release :awake:

I can't wait to take photos of my EU Magic star and my so soft Magic star together :lovey:

Now as an adult collector I am such a fan of a minty condition SS. There is just nothing nicer! Congrats, your girls look lovely :happy:

It's true. We didn't have So Softs here. I am not sure anywhere in Europe did get them. A few do travel here, though...and they seem to be common enough in the US and Canada, so it's not uncommon for collectors to acquire them. After 20 years or so there are a few floating around the UK market too now ;)

Who knows, maybe Magic Star and Buttons will convince you to get them some friends ;) There are 30 So Softs in all :D

Your new additions look beautiful and like they are enjoying playing in the garden ;) The last so softs I had had a less pleasant visit to our garden (hung up by the tail from the hoist to dry in the summer breeze ;)
