Title: Kingsday! (After pics in 1st post!)

Yeah! It's that time again! :P :frolic: I don't have a massive haul like last year, but I'm super happy with my finds. :D

I found 8 G1 ponies and a Dream Castle game, highlights are definitely Baby Blossom and Princess Dawn. Baby Blossom was pretty much a grail since she's a set completer, and I've always loved her (never had her before!). She's faded, but she has turned to this gorgeous shade of pale blue (that refuses to be captured on camera), and she's even slightly gradient! I'm in love. :D :rainbow:
Princess Dawn is also a lucky find, because I didn't have her yet, and she is in excellent condition. Her tinsel is still straight!

I also found these magical looking lanterns that look like (flutter) pony houses. :heart: The fluffy elephant had to come home with me too! And the little toadstools are beyond adorable... They open up, and they have a tiny mouse house inside! :hearts:

The tree is lovely as well, but after I bought it I found out it's from a theme park I don't like. I'm going to de-theme park it, so I will just have a pretty tree! :slug:

Congrats! Those lanterns are from IKEA, I have a red one and a rosé one like yours. I never imagined them as Flutter pony houses, what an adorable idea!

Every year I see so many awesome 'Kingsday' brags. Why doesn't my country have a Kingsday???  Lol, it looks like you got some lovely new G1s there.  Special congrats on Princess Dawn with such lovely tinsel :D

Thanks everyone! They are still drying right now, I'll take after-pictures soon. :D

And thanks kiwimlp! Her tinsel has almost completely faded to silver, but I think it looks beautiful, and I'm so happy she's not a giant frizz-ball! :P

Some lovely ponies there - love the idea for the Ikea lamps. Is that Night Glider hiding in the middle of the row? Can't wait to see the 'after' photo's!

Yes it is! :D

After pictures are in the first post now. :D The photos are not so great and their hair still looks "fixed" from being wrapped in paper towels for a 24 hours, but I couldn't wait to take pictures. I'll be a good pony mother and go brush their hair out now. :P

Your Dawn's tinsel looks wrong.  Maybe check in Nirvana to see if she's a variant?  Good haul!

Thanks for the tip! :D But I'm pretty sure it's just faded, you can still see some purple where the tinsel "sprouts".

Faded tinsel is much better than frizzy tinsel isn't it, lol :)  Your 'after' photos look great.  All of your ponies cleaned up really well.  :frolic:

She's not, she's just just a personal favourite I never had before. She is also partly faded, which gives her a gorgeous gradient effect!
