So today I picked these up at a charity shop. I've never seen anything quite like them before. They are the size of mommy charms/petite ponies and possibly made of plaster. Did someone cast their own molds and make these, or were there plaster craft kits for making them or were they actually sold somewhere? They were in a bag with dollhouse furniture, some of which I recognize from my childhood in the 80's, so at least they're probably really from the G1 era.

Hiya!

I’m SleepySeed and I’m a 29 year old woman from the US in Colorado. I’m currently a reading teacher but I’m not sure if I will stay in the profession when summer gets here.

Growing up, I was a major Horse Girl and had my own pony, Midnight, that I rode bareback and loved very much. When we moved, she passed and it took a long time before I found the right horses again, Chico and Gracie. I then “grew out” of that phase because of social and academic pressures.

Due to some realizations in my recent CPTSD diagnosis, I am slowly but surely stepping back into the Horse Girl life. I never thought I would miss it so much but I do.

My Little Pony was a huge part of my life growing up. I started coll...

Hi! long time no chat! life has been crazy, so sorry for the MIA, thankfully I'm aliive and I'm back!
But something weird happened while I was gone  :what:  I fixed my missing avatar pic, but my post count has dropped by loads???!! over half my posts are gone.  I know my status changed cos I'm not a Mod now but I had over 20,000 posts.. something like 23,000+ at one point and now I have less than 10,000? *Ringlets has a confused* :drunk:
Not sure if there is a record of my exact old post count anywhere? Can it be fixed? can anyone tell me what happened? please and thanks  :lovey:

Do you prefer your So Soft ponies fuzzy or naked? :P
For me it very much depends on the individual designs. I recently discovered a stash of deflocked ponies that I'd completely forgotten about. One of them is Twist, & I love how vividly her colours pop. That bold purple is so striking! On the other hand, I find deflocked Shady obnoxiously bright & garish. She certainly screams eighties!
I think certain ponies like Magic Star & Angel look particularly lovely deflocked. That goes for all the white-bodied gals too.
Then there are some that I prefer fuzzy, such as Twilight, North Star, Ribbon, Hippity Hop, Skippity Doo & Crumpet. Flocking seems to make ponies in shy poses look extra endearing.
I like some ponies equally in ...

Hi,

Most of the US will see a solar eclipse today.  I live outside the path of totality so it will be around 90-95 % totality.  I don't have eclipse glasses or anything so I'll have to be content to watch the coverage on TV.   There is an eclipse party at a local museum, but it's going to be so crowded that I don't want to go.

Don't look at the eclipse without the right eye protection.
