Title: Sites to buy pony hair from?
Post by: CinnamonOnions on January 05, 2019, 02:38:52 PM: Suddenly, I can't find any of the threads with recommendations of where to buy dollhair from. Google too is being a dummy and recommending Target and chinese sites like Aliexpress instead of actual hobbyist sites. I know Dollyhair and Retrodolls, but what others were there..? I'm mainly looking for a better matching tail for my spanish piggy pony and I think I saw well matching hair somewhere, but I can't find the site or the Arena thread I found the site from suddenly. It's quite hard to find anything even near the wisteria/brambleberry like purple with a deep pink tone to it that is piggy purple.

So what all places do you guys buy your ponyhair from? The more recommendations the better.

Post by: Noasar on January 05, 2019, 04:44:26 PM: MLC don’t update their shop so I’ve been using dollyhair.com for hair that matches Hasbro ponies. Shipping is expensive but Retrofolls don’t have all the colours to match G1 ponies, so it depends what you’re looking for!

I recommend Retrodolls if you are in UK/EU because that's where their shop is, and Dollyhair is from North America.

Is there a list anywhere of which Retrodolls colours are a match to MLP? It’s really hard to work out which colours are a match if you want something specific.
