Title: Baby's first deflock
Post by: skyline on December 01, 2019, 11:18:04 AM
Well, after months of boiling and scrubbing and boiling and scrubbing a not-so-mint SS North Star whenever I had the chance, I've finally set her out to dry, replaced her head and tail, and called it a day. I accept that she's always going to be slightly glue-ier than the rest but I've reached the end of my patience and abilities. As a kid I always wanted a NSS North Star to go with my beloved FT baby, and here she is (I bet Basic Fun releases a reissue in like a year).

Apologies for bad cloudy day lighting (to hide some sins!), and serious respect for the serial deflockers among us !

Well done. I love deflocked SS ponies because they are so bright, but I am much too lazy to attempt deflocking one myself.  Great effort :lovey:

Try a bit of Goo Gone on her if you’re able to get it. It’s made with orange oil and is great for removing sticky gunk off stuff.
