So I went to a thrift market like a week ago and low and behold, there were these 2 older ladies selling g1 ponies.
There were 6 in total but 1 got sold so I got the remaining 5! they were so excited and suprised when I (a 20 year old guy) told them I collect these ponies.
So for 7 in total euro's I got :
1: twinkle eye masquerade. she's in fair condition and cleaned up lovely.
2: first tooth baby bouncy. She was the cleanest of them all and she came with a necklace that said baby.
3: first tooth baby lickety split. She is also in great condition.
4: baby blossom, she's in worst condition cause she has turned from purple to grey due to ageing. I still love her and I think the grey looks great on her.
5: sundae best peppermint crunch: I love her so much and I was so excited to see her! thoher head and neck were melted together so she couldnb't move her head. Im still fixing that.

also thanks the ThePoneZone, who also uses this website, I now know how to share pictures, so thanks :)

Congrats! New ponies are always exciting :)
G1 ponies were not in general supposed to have heads that 'turned'; so their heads were glued on in the factory :)

Congrats! I LOVE those baby ponies. And Masquerade is a great start to TE's! Does Peppermint Crunch smell at all?
Baby Blossom often goes grey. :) And yeah glued heads are normal for G1... the Sundae Best tend to have much thicker glue that seals the seam shut. Most are not glued that bad!

Congrats! Baby Blossom has interesting problems.

Congrats on the new ponies!

g1s in the wild! Score to you! Your pics look great. It's amazing how toys so old can still be found in such lovely condition. :lovey:
Congrats :cheer:

They look Lovely!
Congrats!

Congrats on your new finds! The necklace Baby Bouncy is wearing almost certainly belongs to Baby Blossom ;) It's also really common for her to be a greyish colour - there are several shades of faint purple to stronger lavender (like Windy). She really doesn't look too bad, just normal for her age.
Peppermint Crunch should indeed have a fixed head; they all should :) so that's probably not a flaw. She looks in pretty nice shape.

Nice haul! Grey does look great on baby blossom.
I love uniquely aged ponies.
