Hello. I'm a nonbinary artist from the US.  I've never really actively gone for collecting My Little Ponies in the sense of being a Collector, but I do have a few of them and they make me happy because they're all pretty much from my childhood.  I grew up with G3, watched some of the G1 television show back when Netflix didn't have a streaming service, and G4 came out around the time I was in middle school.  I also enjoyed Bella Sara and Horse Isle 2.
I've had them all stored away inside one of my toy buckets until just recently when I put them on display.  I love dolls and toys and such, and naturally I'm interested in getting some new ones eventually.  For one, I love sea ponies and I would love to get both G1 and G4 sea ponies at some point.  I think G2s are super cute and wonderful.  I seem to like some fakies quite a bit as well.
I like customing fashion dolls and I may try my hand at it with ponies at some point, we'll see.
I'm also toying with some ideas for my own magical horse universe and characters separate from MLP, which I would sell art of on Redbubble or something.  I'm not quite sure if that's something that I would be allowed to post about here or not, and if so whether it would go in Off Topic or Arts & Crafts.

Welcome to the arena! Oh man, I remember Bella Sara, that was my intro to the horse toy collecting world. I'd love to see what customs you come up with!

Sea ponies are adorable! I have quite a few from G1, babies and adults. I'd love to get more floats for the babies :) I wish I had more G2s! I'm in the US so I've only stumbled across two. I don't know about you, but I'm quite picky with fakies :P You should check out the threads in the pony corral about them! It would be awesome to see a universe you created too, you might want to ask the mods about where something like that could go :)

An original magic horse universe sounds fantastic, I'd love to hear more about that! You're more than welcome to post your ideas here for feedback, and even advertise your sales (the only thing we do not allow is Kickstarter/crowdsourcing type links but that's already stated in the site rules). You can decide which forum is the best fit, for visual designs and creative writing that would be the Arts & Crafts Corral, but for feedback on general ideas and such Off Topic is probably the best place, you'll reach a wider audience that way.
