I was in London for my birthday this year, so I only just had my presents from my family.
My sister bought me a retro Moondancer (she came from the US somewhere, no idea where though).
I have a special affinity for this set, and have never had any of them from new nor ever seen them in stores here because Hasbro were mean in the eighties. So for the first time today I got to take a Moondancer out of her package and brush her hair from new :D

I can't believe how white she is O.O. I mean, we've been talking about Confetti, but when I got my original Moonie down she really looks beige in comparison.

I like the hair this way. I know some folk weren't sure but I think it's pretty.
Just wanted to share this because Moondancer's set are so special to me. Sister didn't buy me Medley or Glory because she knows I want to see them in stores. So she bought me the best one of the others - and she did admit she was tempted to keep her ;)
So looking forward to these coming to the UK properly :D It's been a good month for retros :D

Thanks all ! She is currently getting to know Tickle and Confetti on my desk. I imagine they are teaching her all about Britain, as she looks a little confused (a common state of affairs for all of us living on this funny little island right now!).
She is beautiful and the colour contrast is even more stunning with the bright whiteness. Were Moondancers ever like that from new? Does anyone remember?

My childhood girl was very white and it contrasted so beautifully with that rich red mane of hers.
