Hi everypony! :silly:
I want to go to PonyCon UK this year, and I just wanted to quickly ask, how long do the tickets usually sell? I'd hate to buy one too late.
:what:

In my experience it depends on the type of ticket. VIP ones go very fast. Saturday ones tend to go quite quickly as well...I have managed to buy a weekend pass within a month of the actual event..but it has sold out before completely.
It used to be a buy on the door experience but then it got more popular.
The venue is same as last year which is quite big so there is a chance of two waves of ticket sales like there was last year?
So it depends on what kind of ticket you want I think :)

The past years the convention tends to sell out and no ticket buying at the door. Usually they will give a heads up how much tickets there are still left. But I wouldn't wait too long if you want to go the whole weekend. And I wouldn't count on a 2nd selling wave.
I already bought my regular weekend ticket since I want to be sure I can attend and read the VIP tickets were sold out in 20 minutes.

VIP tickets have got crazier with the sell out as the years have gone on.
No, there's no guarantee of a second wave. It might be worth contacting the con committee to ask if that may or may not be a possibility - but yeah, if you're for sure on going, it's probably better sooner than later.
