Not really a brag, but I guess I'll share her here. I thought Izzy was consistently one of the ugliest ponies in the merchandise, but she's much cuter IRL, especially once you fix her hair. :) I ordered some of the brushables before they went out of stock, I wonder how they'll look fixed up.

I'd like to post a full in-depth review on my blog tomorrow. In short, her hair is polypropylene... she's very cute but... polypropylene! Not a dealbreaker but it's not nylon. The hair is very thick (like a G3.5) and isn't dry like a late G4, but it feels so greasy and slippery, each plug of hair wants to do its own thing, it's a pain to style! I heard a couple people praise the hair but I just don't like it. It's so oily-feeling. I haven't tried to wash it. I think she has some factory curl but once I started to try to get her hair out of the rubber bands they all fell out. Her tail curls are still there, though. Her "scalp" is rooted just like that, a scalp, it even goes around her horn!

Me likey - she does look prettyful here, and cute! I'm still not 100 sold on the new looks - like the furry hooves, some of the iconic elements get dropped and it feels less like MLP to me, but that's just me I guess. I love G4 and felt like they could have gone on forever there was so much they could do with it! Part of me would love to see a G1 continuation with the same style but better animated to give more depth and story, as there was the crossover into the human world with them.

Your photography is gorgeous as ever, Ragamuffin :lovey:
It's a pity about the hair quality, though. It looked so nice in the stock photos. :(

She looks soooo much cuter after some styling! Looking forward to your review.
I'm always amazed by people who can tell different kinds of doll hair types apart :whoa:

Congratulations! She looks cute after you styled her.
I wish Hasbro would steer clear of polypropylene though.

I really like her coloring. She looks better with styled hair, I agree.

Super cute hairstyle you gave her :)
