Title: Factory Error Pony???
Post by: KittyPinkDreams on September 07, 2017, 11:17:47 PM
I found her in the wild. Pictures of how she was when I got her. I have since cleaned her, just need to get the fizz out of her tail. She still had the washer inside one of her legs. Do you think she is a factory error peachy body with Cotton Candy head??

Aww, all I can see is Photobucket's annoying "no third-party linking" image. :(

Just seen your FB photo - how intriguing! It does look like someone has swapped heads, her head is very pink!

I must say I have been tempted to do the same with a spare G1 Honeycomb to make an alicorn from a donor head - maybe a Majesty rerooted with atomic banana

Hmm I think it's probably just the head and body becoming different colors over time. My Peachy also has a more pink head, just not quite as drastic as yours.

The million dollar question would be was the head still factory sealed.... Some of us like to make frankenponies.

Nah, it's a badly faded body.  CC has distinctly purple eyes; those are bright blue.

Nope her head isn't sealed. I seem to find most of these collector pose ponies there heads aren't sealed anymore. But you have a great point!

Thank you for the info! I am still learning the differences of variations! I hope to see many more in the near future!

I think it is always good to ask about these things just in case. I agree that it seems likely her head was swapped or faded differently but it doesn't mean the next weird one won't be a factory blip...

I have a few of those Peachy characters. It is Peachy, even the blue eye CC is much darker.
