It's great they are going in another direction style-wise, I was never a fan of the original Trolls.
I saw these in store, went "oh no!" and looked them up when I got home.
Then I went back the very next day and bought them ALL (except that ultra rare one :cry:)
I was concerned when I saw the website said this was only series 1. Now I'm SUPER concerned because this picture that was posted says they will be released every 3 months! (I'm a completionist, so yeah, SUPER concerned!)

The website says they will be available at Walmart, TRU, Justice, and Amazon. That first day I saw them, I shopped all over the internet looking for them (I hate giving TRU my money.) but they were nowhere to be found at retail. For once, TRU had the best price :shocked:

Ooh your pega sue looks really different to mine! Mine has green and on the outer part of her hair, and the dark pink on the inner bit. But yours has the pink on the outer and it shows up much stronger!

Toys R Us has Zelfs on sale right now! The mediums are 4.99 right now, but the sale has been going on for a few days already, so you might want to hurry if you want to catch that sale. I don't know what the prices of the large and small were.
I haven't seen them at any other stores. Just Toys R Us. I didn't expect to find and any clovers. I'd been checking once every 1 to 2 weeks since I saw them there about a month ago maybe. I found the one clover and I was looking over the others and completely missed the second on right in front almost.
I think they are just starting to get in the circulation. I always feel guilty because I bought the only two Zelfs that were rare. I felt like a greedy person. I guess I was there,got lucky and there wasn't anyone in that section of the store anyways. I doubt anyone really knows about Zelfs anyways.

I stopped by TRU 2 days ago to see if they'd re-stocked yet. Still pretty empty, no medium Zelfs at all. I was able to talk to one of the employees though and he said the Zelfs are really popular! He checked his handheld stocktaker/scanner for me to see if there were any more coming to the store soon but it wasn't showing that any were in transit. He said that could be a sign the manufacturer is having a hard time keeping up. I'm glad to hear Zelfs are doing well because I love these little guys but I want them to re-stock soon. I want to find a Miss Clover! XD

I agree that I don't think Miss Clover is going to hold that kind of price on ebay. I think as more are discovered and make it to ebay, her price will fall. I'm going to see how it goes with one and possible consider listing the other. I like Zelfs,but honestly that's a heck of a turn around and if someone is willing to fork out that kind of money then by all means BID lol. I'm not that attached to it

I haven't felt this way in a long, long time! Maybe 20 years ago? I feel like a child again. My favorite short stories growing up were BUGG books by Stephen Cosgrove. I loved the illustrations by Charles Reasoner. I used to imagine living among the Buggs, seeing everything with new eyes. Everything so tiny to us, buttons, pencils, snowflakes, were so huge to them. I get that same feeling with these little guys. *sigh* SO much love:)

I thought people might be interested to know I e-mailed Moose Toys and asked them if there would be a second line of Zelfs, and they said yes, there will be. They said (quote): "We release the different Zelfs in stages so as to keep the range fresh and exciting. We have lots more planned for the range."
I hate to say this, but my My Little Pony shelf might have to make room for some Zelfs. I've already bought 10 Zelfs for me and 10 for my daughter (when they were on sale at TRU and I had a 20% off coupon). If they release a new line next year, I'll be flooded in Zelflings. LOL.

It's so easy to want them all once you get started! XD I didn't think I'd have room either. I MADE room :lol: the ponies got a shelf stolen. I honestly don't know what I'll do whenever they come out with "season 2" of these.LOL. That's hilarious, because I just sold five of my ponies on eBay to make room for Zelfs on one of the shelves. I'm pretty much not buying any more pony toys, anyway, with the exception of those darling minis. (I just recently got the Cake Family mini set. It's so cute!)

I saw this on Flickr. Someone called Liddlebutton (who could be on this forum, for all I know) posted this picture, and said the Zelf art is based on the art of a sculptor named Amber Matthies. She said Moose Toys had contacted the artist and asked if they could base their Zelfs on her work, and she said yes.
I wish I could help, I'm working on collecting the medium sized ones because I love the intricate paint job, but the little ones don't have enough colors to tempt me.
But I did watch a youtube review of the little ones and the person reviewing them mentioned she didn't see anything on the pot like a code, to indicate which could be inside. However she did say if you hold one in the store and look at the top, there's only a little piece of cardboard covering the opening and you can lift it up a little and see the color of the hair of the Zelf inside. I hope that helps some. :)

Hey guys!! Heads up, TRU will be doing BOGO Zelfs Medium Size! ...Of course this is after I already bought most of them. :PThanks for posting that. Of course, I have nearly all of them now, too. LOL. I don't have Howlette and Lil'D, though, since their sculpt was my least favorite. Maybe I'll get them, though. I might get one to customize, too. I'm thinking of getting an extra Angelala and stripping off all the shading and stencils off her so she is just a solid white, then painting her.
I've got it!!! :lol: I'll strip the shading off of Angelala, like I said ... then give her stenciled silver snowflakes in a few places. She'll be a Snow Zelf.
I just kinda took a rounded blade around the sides and pried it out. I'm not sure how it is held in on the bigger ones since the lil ones are the only ones I have had so far.Omigosh. That makes me want to try to switch the hairs on the mediums. I'm going to wait a week until Toys R Us has their buy one, get one free sale, and then get a few for some mad experimentation. Mwahahahahaha!!!!! :P Now I'm picturing Elfa (yellow) with her paint and shading removed, with Lunanne's yellow and white hair, with images of the sun painted on her. Then I'd have a Sun Zelf AND a Snow Zelf. LOL. (By the way, other people can use my ideas if they want to. I wouldn't mind at all.)

For that last question, I actually listed several Zelfs I'd love to see them make, instead of listing just one. One that I mentioned was that I'd like to see a gray gargoyle-type Zelf with bat wings. LOL. I just thought that would look cool. I also mentioned my idea of a snowflake fairy Zelf: white with silver snowflakes stenciled on her.

I love them!! I think I need several of these! Mostly Kitsu, Catsby, Birchy, maybe Dorothy-Doe, and Lochlan. Kitsu is definitely my favourite this time!
Jewely also looks looovely but I will pass on her, I'd rather not have to hunt for a rare/expensive one and there's plenty of great normal ones for me!

Finally got myself a second one today, Flamy! And when I opened her up the first thing I noticed is that she has a really squishy head compared to Howlette's, which is harder. I wonder why that is? Are most heads squishy or hard? I can't really tell, only having two.Why did I have to click on the spoiler! I wont be able to sleep for weeks!

Where are these at Walmart? I found one the other day sitting in the middle of the Barbie aisle that someone put down, but I tried to look for its spot, but I couldn't find any more. What toys are they usually near? I'm guessing they're in the girls' section, but I've never seen them when checking for MLP, MH or EAH.Not all Walmarts carry them, and the Targets in the United States don't carry them at all (at least not yet). Of the 3 Walmarts in my area, only one carries Zelfs. They are in the same aisle as the Monster High dolls in that store. The Toys R Us in my town has a huge display of Zelfs! They must be selling fairly well.
Now that I think of it, I don't believe I've seen them at Target yet, either.

About Clover: I did a taobao.com order and bought some Zelfs from a seller who had some 'franken' Zelfs for sale (I assume pieces picked up from a Chinese factory?), including some Zelfs with the wrong wings stuck on and some missing their wings altogether. Here's a pic (the rest of my pics from my order are on Page 26 of this thread :) )

So, one of the benefits of being a bit ill and awake on my tablet at 3:00 AM seems to be that when I checked the Toys R Us website for the new wave of zelfs (as I have compulsively for a while now), they had Miss Clover listed! What! I thought maybe it was going to be one of their "in stores only" listings, but no. It let me order her...so we will see. Don't rush over to the website though. I checked when I woke up and it is now an "in stores only" listing. Assuming she shows up, I'll have a second Miss Clover either for my niece or for trade. Crazy day.

I've been curious about the rare Zelfs (Clover and Jewelry) mostly, like just how rare they are. I don't understand how a figure that's not blind packaged can be rare. Are they just short packed in the case? Or is this just a case of them being labeled as rare so people are snatching them all up to resell on eBay, thus making them appear to be more rare than they are?They're basically like the chase Skylander figures in every possible way. There's one packed in every amount of cases (I think Skylander fans worked out about 1 in 120 cases would have a chase figure). For Miss Clover, I'd be willing to say a bit more, but since I've never personally seen one in the UK outside the promo offer, I'm not certain if maybe UKers received 'less' Clovers or if they just really are that rare.
In picture one, I think I see the furry-footed Zelf you're talking about - the pinkish purple one at the front, right? Is it me, or does it have tufts of fur on its ear tips as well?
Seems to be a large sized one, I wonder if extra-hairy Zelfs will be limited to that size. I bet it'd be hard to add all the extra fur details to the smaller ones.
Looks like a bubblegum scented one in the second pic. Could the white one below it possibly be a mint one?

The Zelfs briefly had a link to a Zardenia poster up on their Facebook page, that had a few names listed that may be series 3 characters. The ones I saw listed were Petal, Lullaby, Cupie (cupid zelf?), Billy (possibly a duck zelf) and Sealia (seahorse or seal zelf?). They took it down though. :(
Does anyone ever trade the Lil' Zelfs? Since they're blind packed and there's no codes like on the MLP blind bags, it makes it hard to get the ones you want without trading.
Right now the ones I'm looking for are Mermalade (pearl), Flamy (pearl), Buttershy (pearl & glitter), Angelala (pearl), Vampula (all three) and Pega Sue (all three).
The ones I have for trade are: Lil' D (pearl), Elfa (standard), Lunanne (standard), Buttershy (standard) and possibly the pearl version of Spellinda, I just haven't decided if I want to keep her yet or not.

I got my medium Vampula I bought off eBay and I'm kind of disappointed. Instead of her pink bat wings, she has pink butterfly wings which I believe belong to Buttershy and they were glued in upside down, making it so she couldn't sit or stand on her own without toppling over. I was able to pull the wings out and turn them the correct way, but I still wish she had her own wings. She also has a really loose neck. I couldn't really complain to the seller because now that I went back to look at the photos from the listing, I noticed she is shown with the upside down butterfly wings. I guess that's what I get for not wanting to pay $15+ for each Zelf. Now I'm worried about the Mermalade Zelf I bought from the same seller. Of course, that one is still stuck in China, apparently. I bought Mermalade just a day later than Vampula, but where she arrived within just a few days, Mermalade just has the "Accepted" scan from the 28th and nothing after that.

Why don't you go to the toysrus.com and get them there they're 6.99 and well plus tax and shipping but they have all the first wave still.

I agree :/ Zelfs are doing it like how mlp USED to do mlp! Instead of same release differnt colours, we have different moulds, scents, wings. I expect we'll soon see transparent zelfs, and zelfs that have a secret compartment, and zelfs with babies and zelfs rollerskates and magic message symbols *__*
I've got regular Howlette, Garny in pearl and glitter, and glitter Lil' D and Mermalade if you want them :)
I think a separate trading thread would be a really good idea, since it looks like series 2 is going to be harder to complete without trading since we can't peek at the hair anymore.

Well I stopped by TRU today and it looks like they are shuffling their Zelf display around. Previously they got half an aisle display to themselves, and the other half was Furbeys. Then the Furbeys were moved over to another aisle display and Zelfs got an entire display to themselves. Now one of the sides is devoted to some other merchandise, which I think is also from Moose (those disgusting dog things lol).
I found exactly 6 medium sized Zelfs on the shelf... and much to my surprise they are the 6 Masquerade characters! No evidence of any new character... which leads me to believe one of two things:
1.) The Masquerade characters are a different shipment than the new characters or...
2.) Someone came in before me and bought all the new characters and left behind the 6 repeat characters. :P
Well jokes on them, I think the Masquerade characters are adorable with their painted faces and tiaras, and I bought them right up! :P
But the back of the package only advertises the 6 Masquerade charas, and the collector's leaflet inside is the same, so I think they might be a different shipment entirely than the new characters. There's no evidence of new characters anywhere on the packaging of the Masquerade Zelfs (not even Jewley the rare Ruby Zelf).
PS: According to the Masquerade leaflet, Flamy is a guy. I am fairly sure I remember the original leaflet stating him as a 'she', so I guess they wanted to change it up so there's more guys in the line. I think in the original line they were all female except Lil' D, lol.

I still need Vampula. I just wish I could find her for retail (or clearance) because I've been looking and I can't find her for less than $10 online. If anyone can still find her at Walmart, can you pick one up for me? I'd also love Buttershy if I can get her for clearance price.

See I'm into Irish stuff too but that's the reason Miss Clover kinda bugs me. It's supposed to be three leaf clover, the shamrock, that is a symbol of Ireland and all things Irish. The four leaf clover actually has no connection at all to Ireland. I plan on eventually making a three leaf clover custom Zelf.

I would love to find Jewelry, but until Zelfs start showing up at stores besides TRU, I guess I'll never have the chance to get any rare ones without way overpaying. It's so rare that I'm able to get to a TRU since it's such a long trip, and I've been disappointed multiple times when I don't find what I'm looking for.

I found Jewely at Toys R Us today(KY,USA)!!! I hyperventaled and almost passed out. So worth it!!! Haha. They had these new ones also! And the Masquerades too (Picked those up last week). They are soooo much cuter in person! (Will take better pictures, but am just so excited, I had to post for you guys!)Congrats on your find she is lovely. I found Jewely at Toys R Us today(KY,USA)!!! I hyperventaled and almost passed out. So worth it!!! Haha. They had these new ones also! And the Masquerades too (Picked those up last week). They are soooo much cuter in person! (Will take better pictures, but am just so excited, I had to post for you guys!)

They had all the Masquerade Zelfs, as well as the first-wave Season 2 Zelfs. Still no Lil'Zelfs from Series 2, though. Has anyone in the USA found them anywhere yet? None of the new Super Zelfs were there yet, either, though I think I read they've been found in a store out on the east coast.

Also....SERIES 2 SPOTTED IN PLANO,TEXAS! All they had was Spellinda- got her at the same Walmart as Cover! I am not happy with the extra packaging as all 12 from this set wont fit on my wall, I had to overlap series 1 just to make all 12 fit! OMG now way! Congrats! I hyperventilated when I found Clover- i think we had the same reaction too! xD CONGRATS!! Im so thrilled they are popping up in TRU here in the US!!
So today I was at Walmart and I decided to check out the clearance aisle (it used to be 3 aisles, but they condensed it down to 1) and while looking through a bin with a few random toys in it, I found a large Mermalade. Once I found her, I went carefully through the whole aisle twice, moving things around to make sure there weren't any other Zelfs. She was the only one. There wasn't a clearance sticker on her, but I decided I'd take her with me when I went to check out the toy section. I didn't find anymore Zelfs there and since I saw a worker there, stocking stuff, I decided to ask about them. She scanned it and confirmed it was the only one in the store, then explained that they had only ever gotten one small shipment of Zelfs and they never had a spot for them on the shelfs, either. This explains why I only ever saw one medium Zelf at Walmart before. But she also gave some bad news. They're apparently set to delete Zelfs from their system so they're not going to get any more. After hearing that, I couldn't not take Mermalade home with me. She rang up at $7, which is not too bad.
Eee, I also got a Jewely! (At the same Toys R Us that, a week before, an employee told me that the pathetic stock they had out was all they had and that they wouldn't be getting more....)Employees sometimes don't know what they're talking about. A couple of months ago I asked a toy store aisle employee if the store would be getting in more Bratz, and was told Bratz weren't being made any more. This is not true. Actually, the Bratz line is getting totally refreshed in 2015 and coming back with a bang (according to a Bratz site I saw). So, employees don't always know what the heck they're talking about. I think some people just like to SOUND like they're knowledgeable. LOL. My husband used to be like that. He would never admit if he didn't know the answer to something.

Can anyone enlighten me on how you get Miss Clover or Jewely in the UK? I thought they were a few released to stores but now I've read that they are mail order only...I love green glittery things and I collect crystals so these two are high up on my want list because I think they are super-pretty, not just for their 'rarity' value (which seems slightly false considering the amount of people finding them in the US!)Just checked for Miss Clover, but it looks as though her promotion may have finished :(

I'm also really hoping we get Zelf ponies eventually, since there's a "ponytail paddocks" on the little Zardenia map in the Series 2 leaflet!LOL. That would be crazy! I can't even picture what they would look like. Maybe short, fat little ponies with saddles so the Zelfs could ride them. That would be interesting.
OK, guys ... what on earth is that pink thing on the far right, that the pink Zelf is sitting on? The whole setup makes me think of pink coral under the ocean, but I can't really tell what it is.I just was able to answer my own question, thanks to that last video posted by Dalek. This pink one is the bubblegum Zelf! So cute. ^.^
*checks Amazon* Hmm, yes, you're right. The sellers that are coming up with Zelf toy listings are Moose Toys and ZELFS, so they're not technically 'third parties.' More like first parties, lol. But yeah, those sellers are not selling them at anywhere close to store retail (which is strange to me). But when Moose is telling people to buy on Amazon, that is probably what they are referring to. They have their own account to sell the toys on Amazon.

I always say that if you prefer them deboxed, then go for it (and this is coming from someone who loves most toys in the boxes)! I've never really been fond of the whole box vs debox thing.
For Zelfs I keep the leaflet and the cardboard base of the packaging (the thing with the Zelf picture on the front) but I throw out the plastic bubble and the cardboard back. ^_^Yes I keep the part with zelf picture on front also. True the card backs were all the same.

I feel like the rare one who loves them! Their faces aren't as cute as the medium Zelfs, but I find them endearing in their own way, almost like they're parents to the smaller ones, or maybe just grown-up versions. I also love the substantial size and the way they feel in the hand, and I LOVE the pearly, glitter and especially the glow effects!
I saw Snapjack I think yesterday, though that one is not to my taste. Birchy and Kitsu returned as well (and somehow stuck around til today)... I just keep forgetting to grab them! Those two may be my favorites from this round. I'm also digging Dorothy-Dot, Catsby, Dandy-lion, and Lochlan.
We also happened to get a series 1 Elfa back in, and I should grab her too. I really want her, the green one with the black cat, the angel, and the werewolf (I snagged one before Christmas but wound up sending it to my boyfriend who loved her xD) in medium size.
ShortyBoo, I agree! I hope they keep coming out with interesting new ones. The Masquerade versions did not wow me, but hey, at least there were lots of new characters, and at least they did switch up the paint jobs respectably. Hasbro thinks putting out one new character and slapping some cardboard masks on is sufficient for a masquerade line, and their Rainbow Rocks effort is pitiful (they just had to use those awesomely painted concept arts and then release no painted playfuls...). >_>
Slightly off topic but it seems Hasbro is releasing a line of Playful Ponies with designs all over them. Stock pics of Cheerilee and three of the mane 6 have been spotted.

My TRU still has one or two Birchy, several Lochlans, at least one Kitsu, and maybe a Snapjack or two. Possibly some others, I didn't really get the chance to look today. I keep forgetting to buy the ones I want... and at this point I'll probably wait 'til another paycheck anyway. Hope some are still hanging around. xD Ours really haven't moved... I wonder if there aren't many collectors in my area?
These things are an addiction, I swear. I even had a dream the other night where I found Ribbita sold individually like the others. (On that note, if anyone does another TaoBao Zelf order, I'd totally be down for a single Ribbita and that flytrap one!)

Oh man Lorelei Redfern, that's a shame! Of course, it's hard to tell what toys will make it big. Sometimes I wish I had a time machine so I would know which ones to buy and hold on to because they'll appreciate in value! lol. In the USA they are pretty much TRU exclusives at this point. They were in Walmart for a short time but Walmart dropped them, and they can be found on Amazon.com as well but for stores it's pretty much just TRU. Although Target does sell the mini blind bag versions near the cash register. :)

What are these clear stands the Zelfs are standing on and where can I get them!? I love your display!Thank you! The stands are nail polish racks. I got them off amazon. I actually hope to replace them with some acrylic risers with a higher step eventually, but these work for now. :)

Aw, my first Zelf with bad QC issues. I got a large Webelina, but when I removed her from the box, I realised she had all glue stuck to her face and her sides. The paint seems to have chipped off a bit where the glue is too, and there's a paint scratch across her foot :(

I've seen quite a few with bad paint jobs and weird stuff in their hair, so they are definitely not safe from QC issues, but typically I can find a good one without too much trouble.

I stopped by TRU after work last night and found Series 2 Wave 2! There were 3 Dandy-Lion, 2 Catsby, 1 Dorothy-Doe, 2 Lady B, and 2 Owlmanda.
I bought a Dandy-Lion, Catsby, and Lady B. I passed on the Dorothy-Doe and the Owlmanda because all of them had very messy paint jobs.
Has anyone else noticed the paint jobs on Zelfs are pretty hit-or-miss? Not that I'm complaining too much, they are a very inexpensive toy and I'm grateful for that (especially since I want to collect them all!) but I find it sad that I often pass on ones I find in the store if I can't find one with a good paint job. (For example last month I left behind a Snap Jack and a Kistu because they both have bad paint, and I haven't seen another since :(
I'm also a bit concerned... I thought the Series 2 Wave 1 would be restocked with the Series 2 Wave 2, but it looks like my TRU only got 3 or so cases of Wave 2 alone. I worry that we won't see any more Series 2 Wave 1 Zelfs, which is sad cuz there was several of them I haven't gotten yet! :(
And of course no Jewly. *sigh* I wish she wasn't so pretty... I really want her because she's gorgeous, not because she's rare. -_-

I don't collect the Large size because I don't like the shape of the head sculpt, but it was cute seeing them. Lady B is pearly, Lochlan glows in the dark! Dorothy Doe is glittery! ^.^

Well I caved and bought my first zelf, a dorothy-doe, she's so much cuter than I ever thought possible. I'm hoping I can stick with just one but I'm sure they'll multiply.

Dragonflitter: I saw the Lil' D prototype! I thought it was really neat! But the blue one called to me, haha :) I dubbed it Miney-Mo the bluecap zelf. I also snagged a few of the fakies that were up on Taobao a couple months ago; their hair isn't as soft and there's glue visible on the eyes, but they're kinda cool. One of them looks like he could be Flamy's brother.

That's how the UK did it, Waterline. But I haven't heard about that deal in Spain... you could check the magazine, though! It should have the advertisement right on the front or back if they're doing that particular promotion.
Someone on Facebook also posted about a three pack of butterfly zelfs that was exclusive to Australia. Does anyone have any more information about them? Is there anyone in AU who could nab these for US collectors?

Awww! Are we for sure that the butterfly set is AU exclusive? Distribution on Zelfs is bad enough without geographical exclusives. Very frustrating. They are so cute though!

I went to my local shopping center today and Toysrus was packed with Zelfs! They had tones of the new playset with the bee zelf that is honey scented.

Apparently there is some hope for TRU possibly restocking soon, once they finish doing inventory.
I'm hoping I can find some of the new ones when I go to TRU Saturday. I want Float, Sealia, Bubblee, Frostette and Chocolaa. Are the scented ones out yet, though, or is it just the normal ones that are being found at TRU?

No luck finding new S3s, but I cant complain because I found Snowphie today. It was so exciting finally finding something rare in the wild! That never happens to me- I never find Funko Glitters, or rare anything in my stores. She was tucked behind a Webina and the whole time I felt like I was robbing the store because it felt so weird to have her and have no one around me care XD

She said they got a shipment so I decided to go check it out. Almost got into a crash on the way there with my son in the car! Some lady decided to come into my going straight lane because she no longer wanted to turn in her turn left only lane. Luckily no one was in the lane next to me so I had room to move over and no one got hurt. So with my heart racing I finally made it to the other Tru and I found a snowphie! I was so excited and glad I finally found a limited zelf. But as awesome as that was the even bigger highlight of my day was my son to his first actual steps!

Well I tried the TRU in Sunset Hills, MO today with no luck. :/They had one float when I went and kirkwood had a few but they got cleared out :/ no luck in cheserfield either argh!!
I can't believe how many US stores are getting season three Zelfs when the second half of S2 is only just starting to hit shelves over here! I hope Snowphie isn't too limited in number and runs out by the time his wave starts getting distributed, I need him for my cat collection. :lol: Just picked up Catsby and the BFF pack yesterday, so Dandy-Lion, Catsby and Butterluv are together waiting patiently on the shelf for him.
Weellllll today is Wednesday, when the single TRU in my half of Maine gets new shipments... I'm going to stop by after work today. *crosses fingers* I'm trying not to get my hopes up. There haven't had any new Medium Zelfs for the past four Wednesdays. :(
Congrats to everyone who found Snophie so far! It's so, so exciting to hear how many people are finding her. When the fever of Clover first started, I was very sad to see on the Zelfs Facebook page how many parents were angry and upset at Moose that they couldn't easily find Clover for their kids (not understanding the point of a company having a 'chase figure'!). I think they took those complaints to heart and made Snowphie more easy to find.
I'm hoping I can find Snowphie on my own too. She's so cute. But I'd be happy with any new Zelfs at all!

My Zelf haul of the day :) My TRU finally got in the medium zelfs I really wanted :) I haven't been collecting as of late but going to try and get in the swing of things. Going to find a nice way to organize and display them too.

The "Cutprice Kidshop" store at my local shopping centre had all six S3 mediums as well as most of the recarded S2 - I saw Dandy-Lion, Catsby and Lady B but I confess my focus was mostly on the new guys. No Snowphie in sight, but I picked up Dolly and Manny for my collection. They also had the super size Dandy-Lion and Lady B, but they were on the top of the shelves and I couldn't reach to see if there were any others.
Tomorrow morning I'll be traipsing all over town to check all the usual stores and see if they've restocked. I feared that S3 would be a way off because Big W put out a new case of S1s a few weeks ago and most other stores were only just getting the second half of S2 in stock, but looks like we're getting the newest releases too. :heart:
Edit: The results are in!SpoilerWoolworths supermarket: scant remains of S1 mediums and S1 supers. Lil D, Spellinda and Mermalade seem to be unpopular.
Coles supermarket: First half of S2 mediums, S3 tinys in eggs.

Yep, I found the Zelicious sets in my two local targets. Big W only had the S3 singles (Float etc.)

Oooh no!!! Pen marks are a PAIN to remove! :( it seeps deep into the plastic and wont come off easy. I know some people sunfade their ponies with pen marks, but I dont know how it would work out for a zelf who is green. I would try mr clean magic eraser to lighten up the stain!

zelfs are on sale at TRU $3- got 5 of them price adjusted last night.
When I want to TRU the other day only two medium Zelfs were left. The place was a madhouse. I doubt I'll find Sealia or Float until after Christmas, if ever. :/

40+ new Zelfs in one big lot would sure be amazing... Is that how S2/S3 happened last year? I wasn't involved in any forum discussions about them back then.

TRU is the only store in the US the sells Zelfs. Sadly, for the new waves, the mini Zelfs like you have won't be sold here but only in the UK (and maybe some other countries). Apparently the small Zelfs didn't do so well here.
My TRU has Wave 4 finally! They didn't have the ones I wanted, like Galexia or any of the scented ones (still.. I'm pretty sure they'll never get those) but I did buy Deeno the Dinosaur and I found a CLEOCAT!! That was a surreal moment. I got excited and knocked down a whole bunch of them and a nice man stopped to help me pick them up. :D

Yeah, i really wish more stores here in the US carried them. Target and Walmart carry shopkins- made by the same ckmpany, Moose, so whaaat is the holdup!? xD I miss when Walfart used to sell them. Thats how I found clover, at TRU i dont stand a chance in this healvily populated metroplex having only 2 toys r us's nearby.Walmart quoted a price too low for Moose to make any profit and refused to budge. Idk why Target didn't tho but it could be they are leery of anything troll-like after being swamped with Trollz that didn't end up selling.
Im going to TRU to look for some goodies for my swap partner. I will peek at the zelfs but i know there wont be anything good in stock....

I saw a bunch of this cutie today at the local toy store, admittedly I wanted to take one with me XD she is so pretty!
I have a few zelfs and I'm trying not to get hooked! I have so many of the mystery miniature zelfs and the lion one, and the unicorn one (lots of pink and yellow). The lion cutie is so sweet to me, I love wings and he's a Leo like me! You never find Leo stuff around here!
I also spotted a gryphon self and a winged unicorn self among others in the stores here if anyone would like me to pick any up for you :) also princess crystella is on a small sale in the shops :) I'm more than happy to help anyone out! No one really bothers with the zelfs around here and there's a lot left around.
I am seriously thinking about giving up on collecting these and just selling all of mine. I live so far away from TRU and buying them on eBay is ridiculous because people charge three or four times the price of a Zelf in stores. I prefer to only buy ponies online, not Zelfs when I should be able to find them in stores. I know from a Zelf group I am in that there is a collector in my area and apparently she has more free time than me. She goes around buying up all the Zelfs for her collection and then buys duplicates to help others online out. Which is very nice of her, but extremely frustrating for me since I live an hour away and with my work schedule, I cannot get there in the morning and have first pick on TRU's shipment days. The new wave just appeared in my area and she said she beat me to the punch and bought them all up. I want to scream in frustration.Sorry that happened to you Dazzle, that seems really frustrating. & yes the Ebay prices can be outrageous. I hate resellers grr I gave up on Amiibos for the same reason lol :3

Finley was just released. I haven't seen him in person yet, but he should be shipping out with the newer characters. I'm not too sure about Sheldon, as I've been out of the loop for awhile and I haven't spotted him at my local store lately. He may still be commonplace elsewhere, so hopefully someone else can chime in. :)

I found a Flamy in a a free stuff box at a yard sale last weekend. I got him because I know people here collect them and I could maybe trade him. But he's just too cute! I'm going to have to keep him for myself. (...)

You have Vampula and Flamy, both series 1, loose without charms or combs I'd guess about $5-8 a piece
I have decided to sell my Zelf collection on eBay. But I am decided to offer the Arena first dibs. The only really rare one I have is Cleocat MOC if anyone is interested, you can make me an offer.

so its offical zelfs are discontuined in the US a friend of clippers called and spoke to moose directly and htey said they were no longer sellign them in the us but htat the ones that were already in tru are going to be sold but once they run out there done. :(

Iv'e been admiring Zelfs from afar, but never took the plunge (I was waiting for a sale which never came).
The Walmart near my house had a Jewelley, a Snophie and two Cleocats! :blink: Aren't they supposed to be different waves AND rare? I was so tempted by Cleocat and Snowphie to add to my black and white cat shelf, but the $10 price tag put me off. It was neat to actually see them in person though, they looked really nice (especially Cleocat).

One of the facebook groups for Zelf collectors is starting an online petition to try to get the attention of Toys R' Us to convince them to sell Zelfs again in the USA. I know it's a long shot, but if you all could take a moment to sign the petition, it would help our chances of getting their attention. :)

hey just posting if there are any Aussies or Kiwis see that the gemz line of zelfs are selling in regular stores?? I would love to trade for nirvana if there are any members about who can snag the latest greatest of these guys = think there are like 6 of 'em season 5 (geesh) already. I love the medium size and they sit great on MLP :-) IMO

I like the mouse one! The fact that it has a partial outfit actually makes sense because it's more of a uniform, but overall in agreement that I really don't like this turn at all. They look awkward and chunky to me. Honestly, I'm kind of glad I don't like them since I won't be craving them from the states. ;)

and... as I have been successful in negotiating with my girls to help in downsizing the toy pile a bit as we don't need two of every zelf (with so many new ones coming) that I now have almost 80 of the mediums loose but basically have been on a shelf that I will be happy to offer up for sale or trade
so this is a ping that I will be updating / creating a sales thread
most are loose, I do have some of the newer (series 3,4) that are MIB and I have a MIB 3-set butterfly friends (stateside)
I found series 6 a week ago in Smyths in Ireland and I bought :How cool. I really love how the did the hair pattern.
