Have her :D I had her from new. She came from the clearance store...I think...in London. I am trying to remember if she was a birthday or a Christmas present. It was either 94 or 95 I think...probably 95. I also have her clip which I haven't lost (unlike my sister, who has lost Liquorice's clip, grr).

They're way too big in my opinion for pony hair. The card suggests they are for human hair anyway, so I never put the clip in Candy's hair.
I would love to have the reverse hair version, she looks pretty cool :)

Don't have her, but would like to one day. To be entirely honest, I'm not a huge fan of the look of this set, something about the patterns just doesn't work for me. But I always have aimed to collect full sets, so eventually I hope to get around to tracking her down one day.

I feel like she's overhyped, at least in the Finnish fb groups :biggrin: I'm not a fan of this set either.

I think that part of it is it's a problem of price. I think everyone stops and thinks twice when you're dealing with a pony that commands the kind of price range these do. If she were a $5 pony I think people'd not think about it in as much detail. But you really need to want to pay the price to get this pony. And then it gets messy like Mimic, where you have the pony considered a status symbol or something that's 'special' and that's offputting too...
I love the Sweetie Babies but the resale prices and esp the ones of the clips frighten me. Sister and I had them all from new so we escaped that...I think they were like £3.99 new? Something like that. But I also remember picking up a bag of ponies at a boot sale with Baby Candy in for £2 the lot, and also picking up doubles of her set for £1 a time at the carboot sale on another occasions. They've never been common, but the fact they exploded in price like they have I think jades them :/ Also the Jewel babies and Splish, Splash, Splosh. Same problem. Same time frame. Same ridiculous prices. Esp for/with accessory.
Lollipop is my favourite from this set. She reminded me of Sunburst, another childhood pony. Candy is not quite as nice but I still like her throwback to something vaguely TAF with this set. I would like Liquorice more if people didn't insist on making it the US spelling Licorice. But she has a weird as heck colour scheme...and I'm still not totally sure if it works for me?
Candy's is nice in that it reduces the necessary 'pink' to eyes and...ish...symbols.

I have her and her reversed twin. I like them, but the others in the set a little bit more.

I do love her and Lollipop but I agree with Taffeta about the prices being a little offputting. They aren't *that* amazing to me. I'd rather have Red Roses and Fireball who I'm saving up for.
