This isn't a huge brag, although this is the first pony I've acquired in a couple years. I just discovered this week that G1s are being re-released, so yeah, I've been really out of the loop. (Difficult pregnancy, moving to a new house, NICU stay, depression...) Anyway, I told my husband about the new G1s and showed him the Pretty Parlor on Amazon--and he ordered it for me as a surprise! (He's also encouraging me to buy more ponies.) It came yesterday.

I know the new Pretty Parlor is old news in the collector community, but it's exciting for me. And it was sweet of my husband to get it for me. (What's with the alternate Twinkles mold, though?)

And Peachy seems to have a printing error. Is this usual for all the new ones?

Anyway, I guess this is a husband brag more than anything, but it's nice to be back to collecting. :)
Edit: OK, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong with the pictures. I'll have to figure that out...

Instagram doesn't allow you to direct link to images sadly. I think my Peachy had straight hearts as well?

Ah. I've used Instagram for posting pictures on other forums, so I figured it would work here, too.
My new Peachy has straight hearts on one side and tilted hearts on the other, which I found odd.

Both my Peachy and Snuzzle have one side w straight hearts and the other tilted.

What a lovely surprise to cheer you up. I did the whole NICU stay with my son 5 years ago. It's such an emotional difficult time but now I look back with good memories of all the wonderful care my son and I received. I hope this will be the same for you in time too xxx

I'm sorry that you're having a bad time but I'm glad your husband was able to get you Peachy, it's always nice to get a gift, especially a surprise!
Actually, you can use instagram pics. You just gotta go through a back way and it only works on the computer.
So you get the pic on Instagram, you put your mouse over the pic, right click and pick inspect.
It should high light the pic box, and now you gotta go in the side box, click on the little arrow above to expand the info.
Then it'll list a URL with the pic, hover over it and it should show the pic, if not, hover over the new info until the pic shows up and right click on it, select open in new tab, viola!

I Think the set is supercute and it´s awesome that it came back 35 years later.
