Well recently I got some vintage My Little Pony curtains and wished to do me clothes with.
But my mother argued it's not a good fabric for that and said we could do a bed cover with instead. So I said yes.
Then I had an idea: how about to do some ponies with emboidery to push the color of the fabric?! So I've got as an answer "doesn't count on me to do this" and "do you ever try emboidery (cf do you know how long & hard it is?)" so I got to admit I never did such a thing.
So my mother went to found me a blank fabric, got me a pencil and said "draw a pony, I will teach you". That's what we did, and here I am after 2 whole days of work with my very first emboidery work of my life
Then, I wanted to show you the emboidery with the fabric I plan to embellish (6 ponies in line were choosen on) but well... u see what I mean?
So I'll keep you updated on this project, but I may need to finish a drawing before
Really need to kick up myself!
That is very pretty :) I've never done that sort of embroidery myself.
Beautiful kitty btw ;)
Love pkw xxx
Thanks you so much!
I've got two kitty, they are full sisters and came from the barn (stray cats). Love them so much.
But that one with pink nose is ALWAYS in my feets, she's following me like a dog, coming when I call her and wants to be center of my attention h24
Thanks you all, it warms my heart to read you :lovey:
Awesome! Oh man, it looks so cool! I hope you show the finished product. I for one would love to see it. Y’know, as a how much your skill grew sort of thing.
Yeah of course I will show you the whole process and finished product!
So I started the ponies on the fabric, it's more easy as I don't have to drawn the pony by myself aha. The only problem is that I saw some defaults in the original drawing and I try not to correct it too much to stick to that original drawing.
Also, I've used the same idea with subtle shading.
I post you this step so you can watch how it looks in progress and with the line:
Love to do that!
Yes it's an original G1 fabric.
Thanks to all of you!!
And here they are, sorry for the light there's a big storm here...
Thanks you two! :lovey:
I worked on the two next ponies, and make a little change as I don't want to do the same pony more than once... and well with the pattern it's not easy
Really hard to get correctly in pictures too, saddly :yikes:
Next pony!
It start to looks great. As you can see...
Thanks you :lovey:
It's slow, but...
Thanks you everyone!! :lovey:
Yes it take a lot of time and patience, but I'm reaching the end and you sweet comments are a great help, for true!
The next ones, I choosed to go on much accurate colors than the ones show in the fabric...
I've now finished the first step: all the ponies I wanted are done!
Here's some details:
Now my mother is going to put this on a bed cover (finally)
