Ahahahaaaa, Hasbro took the type of dress from the "Gala" Mane 6 set and repurposed them as SKIRTS for the pony royalty.
Wow, I can't wait to get Luna in that mold! I wish she was dark blue, though. It's more of a "night" color, IMO.

Ooh more backstory for Cadance. Can't wait for season 3 of FIM to see this Crystal Empire.
I don't mind the purple for Luna since I love the color so much. Any Luna released must join my collection!

First off very happy that that Luna is getting some kind of store release as I really would love her...but really HB you going to make me buy another Cadence and Celestia lol...collectors everywhere are going to have Celestia armies. :P
I also was hoping that the Celestia in this pack was going to be the same mould as the other 2 and in white...now that would have been awesome! Nice find MrPony.

Must add to my Cadance army :) And finally getting a Luna will be a great thing.... but Pink Celestia? And they look half naked when you put the skirts on them like that.... in the pictures on the back Cadance has her royal shoes [thingies], but in the actual doll she doesn't.... HASBRO.......

They...they MADE A PRINCESS SET! -gasp- I am almost willing to forgive the Nightmare Moon unneeded box party right now. Except I do want Shining Armor, so I may end up with Cadence clones. ^^'

Hmm I like the FS dresses better, where the 'arms' go around the front chest of the toy, rather than around the waist behind the wings. Looks like they're going to fall off at any moment.
However yay for this adorable set!! And yay for an appropriate Luna! ^___^
(I seriously do not understand all the people complaining that Luna is supposed to be blue instead of purple. She looks completely purple to me on the show, especially compared to her sky blue hair. o_0 She was maybe a little bluish in the Halloween ep but that takes place at night so the coloring is different...)
Anyway, will be buying this set! I have managed to avoid ALL Celestia toys up until now, because I wasn't really thrilled with any of them (not a fan of molded hair nor her pink peptol look). And I already have a Cadence from ebay, but... YAY TEEN LUNA!

Notice that Cadance's shoes are painted in the pic on the back of the box but not on the toy. Wow Hasbro's getting kinda bad about that (*cough* FS Celestia)
I don't even care that I will be growing Cadance and Celestia armies. They are different enough for me and that Luna is sooo pretty! :inlove:

OK, I almost feel bad buying the castle for Cadence. Good thing the castle itself is pretty and there's Prince Shining Armour, so not all's lost.
Don't mind another Celestia and definitely welcome Luna!

Looks like the one from the "Royal Castle Friends" set with Twilight and Spike, but with painted boots and a skirt. And probably glitter hair, but kinda hard to tell in the first picture. The promo art on the back shows glitter hair though (if that means much).

Why would Celestia be made in the Cadence mold? It wouldn't make sense, her body shape is totally different. :|

Looks like I may have to get this set and replace my current Celestia with this one since she has the brushable hair :-) Does this mean I'll have to end up with two Cadences though in order to get Shining Armor??

I need that set. I was going to buy the castle just for Cadence & Shining Armor, but it's a lot of money and if I get this set, I can just wait until someone has a Shining Armor they don't want. I'm not thrilled that Celestia is still pink (I thought they corrected that since Cadence is in the pink Unipeg role) but since I don't have a Celestia yet, I wouldn't mind having her. The real reason I want this set, though, is Luna. I need that Luna. I don't care if she's not blue like she's supposed to be, she's still pretty. I'll definitely paint both Luna's and Cadence's shoes, though. They look unfinished otherwise.

As much as I like Luna, I won't be buying this set or any other that includes another pink Celestia. I can't afford to buy something the majority of which I don't even want. If she were white, though, I'd snap this set up asap.

Whoa, there is some weird molded shoe stuff going on in this set. They finally painted Celestia's shoes yellow for this set, which is great! But Cadence and Luna don't get painted shoes. But Cadence gets painted shoes on the backcard. I'm confused.
It also looks like they're sliding their dresses off, which is kind of unsettling. And yes, I do realize that ponies are normally naked, but still. XD

I noticed Celestia doesn't have her neck clasp like the she does in the set with Twilight and Spike. I noticed they reused that G3 mermaid chest again too.

Now this is exciting, thanks so much for sharing! The princesses look so nice all packaged in a set together. This is going to be an absolute must-have for me; I don't have any of these girls yet and I'm a sucker for glitter and... that Luna ahh <3 I guess that means I'll end up with Cadence doubles since I'm also planning on getting the wedding castle with her and Shining Armor, but that alicorn mold is just so dang pretty I'm okay with that. :P

Wowee! I was really wondering what this set would look like and if it was worth it to buy any of the Princesses without the package. I can't believe they just threw the tiny little dresses from the regular-sized ponies on them. Their outfits do look silly, but I am just happy to see a brushable Luna that has a nice body, wings, and non angry/derp eyes.

I will take any Cadance off of your hands that you don't want [in the hypothetical future when you get more than you want :) ] I absolutely love that pony! I really don't think these two are the same molds, though. I think Castle-Cadance is larger than this one but I have nothing to back that up except for scale on this image and those from the toy fair.

I have the same problem. Only I also don't want the castle, so not only would I have an extra Cadence to find a new home for, I'd have the castle to get rid of as well. I may just wait until the castle goes on sale.

She seems to have her name split...its odd...Cadance in most boxed packaging...Cadence on the blind bags...weird HB consistency!

This Luna is so pretty! Too bad she's so tall, that coupled with the fact that I doubt she'll ever be sold apart from the other two means I'll probably have to pass on her. Sad day. At least I like her smaller form <3
