Title: Had a lucky day yesterday. Thrift finds and 35th Anniversary Ponies finally
Post by: Shy Violet on June 06, 2018, 07:56:21 AM: Yesterday was a super lucky day! First I found the 35th Anniversary ponies which I've been waiting to come to Canada forever. Then I swung by the thrift store on my way to meet a friend and found G1's!!!! At first I spotted Windy and then I saw another and another and my arms were overflowing with ponies. Nothing HTF but it was so fun and exciting to find ponies in the wild again and so many at once. It's been so hard to find G1's anymore. So Soft Surprise looks like she has perfect flocking. The rest should clean up really nicely. I'm also super happy to find another Strawberry Shortcake sheet. Now if only I could find Carebears or MLP sheets. Snuzzle is from The US but she felt left out so she's included with her sisters.

I checked again today since I was in the area and I missed a Baby Tic Tac Toe that was hiding behind a big fakie. Another reminder to be thorough and flip over every bag.

Thanks! Yep, EB Games. Lucky, I have a few Strawberry Shortcake sheets. I dunno what I'm going to do with them yet but I like to collect things and I love fabric so they can join my fabric stash and be on display to admire, lol.

It is Twilight! She is one that I needed but happened to find like a month ago but this one is in better condition so she's a keeper.

It is a mini Glory. I already have one but can't pass up a cheap one at the thrift store.

Therr is like not much left for toys anymore. We have a couple local owned toys stores but things are so highly priced. As for thrifting I agree 2018 has been a brutal year. Have only found a few goodies for G1. But previous last 3 years I had Scored some amazing ponies, like lavender lace, ss twilight, wingers, princess pristina colorswirl ponies, glow n show ponies, big brother ponies. The list goes on. All from Value Village. They know me there, very well. I am sorta special to that place. Lol anyways lovely finds! Do you check kijiji frecuently?
