Title: Hair match for silver-haired Greek Bluebell?
Post by: otocolobus_manul on July 22, 2019, 02:28:51 PM
I know the whole appeal of this particular variant is kind of that her hair color is so unique, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask. Are there any ponies with the same/similar hair colors? I got one at last year's pony fair and while she is lovely, she's missing her tail. I was thinking maybe take Sunlight's tail and dye it ever so slightly blue?

Alternatively, if anyone has a loose silver Greek Bluebell tail available, hit me up.

Hmmm... I remember looking at dolly hair and Daquiri Ice might be a match for you. It is supposed to match the greek baby bluebelle..

You may need to try dying some white nylon to get a perfect match. Daquiri Ice  is a close match, but not perfect.

Daquiri ice use to match but now it's completely different in colour. The new daquiri ice is more green in colour than blue. I wish it would get changed on the dolly hair site it hasn't been a near match for years now. Artic Frost is a bit to light but it's more blue in colour and so in my opinion is a better alternative.

I thought it used to be a match a long time ago!

The "old" Daquiri Ice is not an exact match.  Dollyhair claims it is close. I have a Greek Baby Bluebelle who was missing her mane but still had her tail.  I rehaired her in Daquiri Ice since it was the closest match, but the mane is brighter than her tail.  I think even taking possible fading into account it would not match the original color exactly.
