Wanted to make another natural coat color custom aka I need a break from pastels. Opted to go similar to the prototype black one (not my picture and I cannot for the life of me remember the website I scrounged it from) sans the eyes, those eyes are too much for me.
Sacrificed a Peachy, no regrets :: evil laughter ::

PS if anyone knows where I can find a pic of the other side of the brown prototype I'd be grateful...

Oh, that black is beautiful! I hope you're able to find the other side of the pinto. What an interesting project.
-
Gorgeous!!!
Is the other one supposed to be pinto? .....Cuz that's not pinto (or a real horse color at all)

How cute! I love natural coloured MLP but never knew about these prototypes, they are so cool! I had this phase at some point (when I was already getting "too old" to play with ponies, read: losing interest in them) where I used to draw ponies in real horse colours. And I mean real colours, not like the brown one here... she's still adorable though and I'd love to see her as a custom! Hope you'll be able to locate a reference image. :)

Love it! I feel like Bonnie Zacherle talked about a name she would give the black horse. Was it Sheba, I think?

I found this. I think it must have been at an MLP Fair one year from the background. Maybe something of Summer's?

Openly admitting to stealing image... HA HA HA I can finish this set now!
That's much better quality, I think I could pull those eyes off now that I can tell how much black is actually in the pupil.
Also, that's a ribbon around her neck; I had initially thought the molding was off and that it was just a plastic color. So much learning....

Ahh another one who give the natural ponies a chance for life. The black pony is just cute isn't she? I like your attempt on her, the tail looks really awesome!
I did the prototype set too a few years ago.
